@Brad604 Why would you even show this map if its not going to verify(which it is not)?

239" of Snow forecasted on the 384h GFS Snow Map for the Mountains around Kitimat, BC. For you Americans, the GFS has put up an absurd number of nearly 20 feet of Snow for that area. For you Canadians, that is 6 meters of Snowfall. That is the highest number I have ever seen this model show before. It's not going to verify or anything, and who gives a fuck about the Mountains around Kitimat. But it does go to show what type of pattern we will be in leading up Xmas in the PNW and BC.

@joathinks @JSJamato Yes there are, but people with disabilities should be able to attend any school they want which is not the case in many private schools.

@windpowermatt @JSJamato There are private schools specifically for various special need learning. My nephew is finally excelling because he’s enrolled in a program that focuses on teaching boys with adhd.

A petition to end public funds for private schools in Alberta is moving ahead... They will need 177,732 signatures by Feb. 11 to force a referendum vote. Are you gonna sign it? #ableg #cdnpoli

@ECCCWeatherAB Hey - I am curious if you could comment on the heat warnings that were issued? It seems like neither Calgary or Edmonton hit the heat warning criteria once in this event!

@JeromyYYC I love your commitments and support many of them; How will you ensure they take into account people with disabilities? When I was on the ACA committee; you voted against policy or funding that would have increased accessibility in our city!

A city that connects is a city that thrives. Calgary can be a city where greenspace is everywhere, where shade under trees is easy to find. Where every neighbourhood has its community hub for picnics, gatherings and community gardens. jeromy.ca/news-1/parks-a… #yyccc 1/3

Here's a striking piece from Alberta's budget yesterday that illustrates some of the volatility the province needs to plan for at the moment: A $1 swing in the price of oil now means a $750 Million swing in the provincial budget.

Confirmed: A garage door remote still works after it's washed in hot water with a load of towels. However - not recommended.

@ScottCrockatt You're talking short term monetary right? Alberta has seen more impact from climate change fueled natural disasters than other places I would argue, so I think Alberta has the most to gain.

The overwhelming bulk of the impact and cost of the Clean Electricity Regulations will fall on Alberta, and a couple other provinces, and it's profoundly disappointing that those are exactly the places they are totally unworkable.

All eyes on the EPO and what it will do mid month.. A more negative EPO is a colder forecast. A more positive EPO is a warmer forecast. There's evidence to support both outcomes right now. The best approach is to watch data trends next few days. #natgas #winter #snow

Not concerned about the warm up on data in week 2. The ridge developing in the N. Pacific is exactly what we need to reload the cold air for a big shot of it late December. Call for cold/snowy pattern late Dec. on track in the Midwest. New video update coming to Clarity soon Get all our long-range video updates at 40% OFF. I wonder how many hailstones I should bring back to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving. 🤪 In my infinite benevolence, I’m going to hide them randomly around the house.
