The Ṛgveda-saṃhitā is not a didactic text. It's primarily a liturgical and ritual text. It's not a primarily didactic or philosophical text like the Bhagavad-gītā.

@arya_amsha Wasn't ancient israleite religion polytheistic just like ancient iranian religion then both got transformed into monotheistic cults 🤔

Diversity is our greatest strength!

Hindoos will look at this and tell you with a straight face that they do not worship demons

Ram is not a God. To be honest, no credible evidence is found to prove such a character ever existed. Just like Odin, Zeus, Thor; Ram belongs to the realm of MYTHology. The Ramayana too, is a mythology, not history. Just like Norse, Roman & Greek mythology.

When Chandra eloped with Brihaspati’s wife, Shukracharya and the asuras supported Chandra, while the devatas and even Rudra stood with Brihaspati. There is a deep lesson here. The mind, when moving in an adharmic direction, still finds support. Asuri energies naturally align with it. They justify, they reinforce, they stand by you even when you are wrong. This is the nature of the mind. It easily finds allies in the wrong direction. Brihaspati, however, does not support blindly. He represents higher wisdom and dharma. When Jupiter turns away from you, your ability to act like a devata weakens. What is a devata? One who nourishes, protects, and gives. If you reach a state where you have nothing to give, not even in spirit, then understand Jupiter is not active in your life, even if you have knowledge. Because knowledge without the ability to give is incomplete. This is why Jupiter is essential. It brings the quality of giving, protection, and dharmic living. Jyotish is not just about prediction. It quietly shows how life operates and what we are becoming within.

In Valmiki Ramayana, Rama tells Sita that he fought this whole war not for her, but to restore the honor and pride of the Raghu dynasty, which was tarnished after her kidnapping. Now that the pride is restored, she is free to go wherever she wishes (verbal divorce). 10 directions are open to her. Rama also goes one step further and says, now that she is free, she can choose to stay with Bharat or even Laxmana and that will be acceptable. Its only when Sita proposed an Agnipariksha and came out unharmed, Rama accepted her back (no excuse left to disown). He never apologized even once for his earlier stance. ( all in Yuddha kand) This is your original Ramayana, the 'best' example of a man ever.

Nobody has, will, or can make an “accurate” Ramayana. An accurate Ramayana true to Valmiki would hurt sentiments left, right, and center.
