Got a new roommate yeaterday. Walked into my bathroom and saw this. she used all of my products. Emptied them out. Then she came into my room butt naked and came PAST my curtain to ask if I had a towel. Needless to say she was sent to the hospital and hopefully won't be back. This place is so stressful

I'm not really certain where this vitriol is coming from? It's not just you, it's a common response to this product but I don't understand why? You promote Dyson and Austin when they have been independently tested to offer far worse performance for the price and those companies do nothing to support DIY solutions for people who cannot afford their products. They are also just "boxes with fans", only everything is proprietary so you can't fix or replace it, which you seem to think makes them more, not less, valuable. We're huge proponents of box-fan filter cubes; for certain use cases, they are ideal. For other use cases, where noise, power consumption, or floor space are an issue, there are other DIY form factors people can choose. In a very, very small number of cases, where people want something more aesthetically pleasing and durable but that still offers better performance per dollar than most alternatives, we offer a product that fits that specific need. Why do you and so many others attack it and not higher-priced alternatives that perform worse, with planned obsolescence baked in, from companies that make no attempt to achieve equity in access to clean air? Why do you favor this? I'm genuinely curious because I can't figure out why people keep attacking a product that offers better value than most of its competitors, while also enthusiastically educating the public about free alternatives that offer the exact same functionality. Why does this draw the ire of so many? What about our company or product enrages people more than the countless air purifier companies that outright lie about their performance or sell ridiculously overpriced proprietary consumables? Because so far all I can see is the most vile forms of cutthroat capitalism being enthusiastically validated daily by the people who suffer most from it.

Throughout the film Odysseus should grow paranoid as he becomes increasingly aware of an audience observing him. He should start yelling "Who are you, show yourselves" at the camera

I think it would be one thing if he described the image to the generator, versus having actually fed it into one. Arguing that you can't lay claim to a concept that simple makes sense to me in a broad sense, but when someone that person was is business with makes an obvious, intentional AI ripoff by feeding it his work, what are we doing with this kind of ruling. It's effectively saying as long as you feed something through AI and it changes the style just enough, it's yours now. Hell, why is AI where it stops? Can you just run Seinfeld through a filter and now that's your sitcom? That's insane to me.

An 11 year old girl committed suicide after being bullied by kids at her school who told her they were going to call ICE to take her parents away so she would be all alone. 11 years old. Those children saw a Hispanic girl at their school and bullied her with the racist remarks they learned from their parents. Now a child is dead and a family is forever traumatized. The school knew about the bullying but never informed her parents. They only found out about it after she had already passed and investigators informed them. I will never understand how anyone could be so cruel to support an organization that is tearing families apart. This poor girl lived in fear thinking she was going to lose her family. The sick thing is I doubt the parents of those bullies even cared because that is the behavior they taught their children. Fuck ICE and fuck everyone who supports this. Rest in peace Jocelynn Rojo Carranza.

If Donald Trump or Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg came to your workplace and walked around with a bag that you are forced to put a percentage of your earnings into, would you allow that? Because that is what is happening. That is what you are allowing to happen.
