@JimSpenceDundee Indeed. Lived in a prefab. So cold inside one night that the water froze in the fish tank. In the morning, I found the goldfish swimming on its side in the couple of inches of water that hadn't frozen. It survived. Even goldfish were tougher in the 60s!

@JimSpenceDundee Conducted the play at Easter Road vs Dundee. A footballing brain, at least, two steps ahead of the opposition and even his Hibs teammates! I recall he was on a pay as you play contract because, at times, he'd miss his flight from London and be a no-show. Flawed genius.
