What’s your secret to an enjoyable life in 10 points? Mine in no particular order: 1. Exercise as often as possible 2. Eat and drink healthily but also sometimes eat and drink what makes you happy 3. Be somewhere beautiful as often as possible 4. Breathe clean air as much as you can 5. Play musical instruments everyday 6. Read books that make you feel something 7. Listen to music that feeds your soul 8. Value knowledge, never seductive ignorance 9. Call out injustice 10. Love and be loved

@RogersHistory I’ve been in a row about this today. IT turned up to fit my lab for a new shiny screen. I don’t want it. It will make no difference to my students or how I teach. I want a lab with working blinds, windows, gas and a ceiling without holes. Im told the cash is ringfenced 🤷‍♀️

What’s the biggest waste of money you’ve witnessed in your time as a teacher? Whether in your department, school or nationally.

@bt_uk Hi. Just spent an hour with an engineer only to discover we can’t get your full fibre broadband due to the network not having been updated. Told when ordering we could. 30mins bouncing around your phone exchange who won’t cancel our order. A bit frustrating.

@carolinenokes Hi wonder if you knew that part of your constituency are not able to access full fibre broadband? Whitenap area don’t have the capacity. Just spent an hour with some engineers scratching their heads over it. Wasn’t this part of a government pledge?

With the specific intention of riling up half of #edutwitter I marked all my mock papers today. And I feel good about it.

@GoAssist Really disappointed that my older mother was charged £30 by your company for cancelling a visit by you that it turned out she didn’t need. Policy says that a working days notice must be provided and she tried to cancel in time for this but your phone lines were closed.
