@Mukherjea @SamGreenwoodRIO @RGHall its hard for bb to be aggressive regardless what you do, making the pot as small as possible plays to his incentives way more than yours

I would definitely want to VPIP 100% as well but would lean more towards limps where it's hard for BB to be aggressive and shoves than RFI which would invite shoves. However 8-9% is what I would want to call instinctively. This is after seeing the sim output. I'd also definitely not want to try these shoves with very poor hands unless I was sure my opponent both knows the general direction of these outputs and wants to respect them. In the current setup every single hand is enormously CEV and I don't want to give my opponent a 70% chance of reversing that if he feels like calling with ATs or AJs or 77. I feel I can win lots of chips on average without this risk.

The BB is so tight that shoving any hand is +EV compared to fold. When you open jam from SB you can play more hands than only playing RFI. The BB can't fight back vs a shove (outside of waiting for a good hand), but can vs an RFI. If SB RFI 100% they can jam AQo, flat 65s or three-bet fold A2o. The CL wants to play 100% from the SB and needs to play open jams to keep their own value:bluff ratio narrow enough that the BB can't rebluff constantly.
LEGION | Joey Ingram 🐉@Joeingram1

have been deep in the FT ICM preflop lab and find how often this pattern shows up very strange @GTOWizard the chipleader is able to shove absurdly wide pre-flop when one or two super short stacks are alive 4-6 handed. In this one the CL can shove 65.5% of hands vs the 38bb BB because of the 6bb and 8bb stacks still alive and in the blinds next. the BB defense range is supposed to be 99-AA knowing that the SB is shoving that wide. My cash game brain is breaking trying to understand this spot because why would you want to risk so many chips with all the worst hands but it feels like chipleader mindset is to find spots to play very wide aggressive ranges short handed

@BudManStream @witheredreg @j0hndayt0n @scott_seiver @themouthmatusow You're making the argument for why people really shouldn't buy HS action. You don't owe the players your money and they don't owe you transparency. But I personally wouldn't buy action unless I got transparency. Just don't buy a product that is built like this. Its that simple.

@scott_seiver @BudManStream @themouthmatusow Cause people are interested in transparency and many of these players openly sell action to the public. If we weren’t talking about poker but another topic, shouldn’t the public have a “right” to the most accurate information availible?

@zedmaster84 @Chinaman_123 @DylanLinde It's really not that inconceivable to track... most casinos, if not all, require you to have a players card, therefore your buyins are certainly tracked to a player ID of some sorts. It's doable. People just aren't doing it.

1/x I deeply regret doing business with David Peters. Last summer David purchased a piece of the 50k plo WSOP that I won. I paid him out a large amount, in cash, a couple days later. A few months later I’m at Triton Jeju and David buys a piece of my two main events (nl & plo)

Coinpoker is probably the first poker room where a reg sits out and leaves against a recreational player because of the rake being so high. The High-Stakes HU tables have become unbeatable or barely, and even their " special program " for regs battles is not competitive compared to what other sites offer. Coinpoker doesn't have the lowest effective rake in the industry as they claim, and in reality have one of the highest.

CoinPoker@CoinPoker_OFF

Hi everyone, Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on the next step for rewards on CoinPoker, with player input playing a key role in how we’ve built it. Your support on and off the tables has been overwhelming. Thank you for that. Today, we’re introducing CoinRewards, CoinPoker’s new rewards system. CoinRewards is designed with one clear goal in mind: to strive to offer some of the lowest effective rake in the industry, while rewarding the entire player pool and supporting a healthy, active ecosystem where games remain sustainable and beatable at every level. CoinRewards replaces the previous system, where rewards only benefited a small part of the player base. It runs automatically, with no opt-in required, and rewards players during play, across sessions, and after they finish playing. CoinRewards combines three core components: • CoinRaces CoinRaces has been upgraded to distribute $1,000,000 per week, with rewards paid out every 2 hours. The new format spreads rewards across more positions, meaning more players are getting paid consistently throughout the day. We rolled out the updated CoinRaces format ahead of this launch so players could experience it in real conditions. You can already review your results and see how much you’ve been earning from it, and we’d encourage you to take a look and share your feedback on how it can be improved further. • Infused Splash Pots With Infused Splash, CoinPoker is adding $500,000 per week on top of the existing Splash the Pot system. This turns it from a player-funded mechanic into a true rewards channel that plays out directly at the tables. That added value shows up in real time during gameplay, with Mega Splashes that can hit up to 1000 big blinds. • Daily Rewards A small but meaningful part of the overall rewards spend is a flat daily reward of 15% paid directly into your account on top of everything else. Together, these components are designed to reward all player segments and keep games running with strong participation across the board. One of our key priorities is our commitment to keeping the online poker dream alive. We support you in this journey and want to show that with our actions ➡️ We will continue to give at least 100%+ rewards back on microstakes. That means keeping the rewards system set up to distribute at least 100% of all fees straight back to the player pool. CoinPoker won’t take a cut and will keep adding extra money to the microstakes ecosystem. We want poker to grow, and for players at every level to have a real path to climb through the stakes. New players are the most important, and we want them to have a real shot, so we aim to be your partner in making this as easy as possible. We're also fully committed to supporting the high-stakes ecosystem for both action players and professionals. In April, CoinPoker will roll out High Stakes Poker Rewards. Similiar to before the launch, this unique rewards program is designed to benefit all players competing at $50/$100 and above, regardless of skill level. We are working closely with the Highstakes community and full details will be published on our website later this week. Pro battles will have minimal cost, and action players may receive over 100% back via custom rewards. If you are a player driving action, please reach out to our VIP team. We know that building a system like this is not a one-step process. And we will improve over time with your help. Finding the right balance across all stakes and player types requires continuous refinement, and we will keep adjusting where needed. Our priority is to make sure all players feel heard and valued, and that the system evolves in a way that is fair and sustainable. Your feedback is a key part of this. Please keep sharing your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns with us. We are listening closely, and your input will continue to shape how CoinRewards develops over time. Thank you for your continued support. The CoinPoker Team

What a wild world we live in where 2 of the 3 biggest sites are also the highest rake by quite some margin. For all of ACRs PR nightmares, the fact that they have grown to be second largest site has to be largely impart to the low rake.
Frankie Carson@FrankieCPoker

Coin's new rake structure is still much higher vs old. I ran the math estimating the rakeback value of Splash Pots + CoinRaces + 15% flat. @CoinPoker_OFF: If the goal is lowest effective rake, why avoid a simple, flat competitive rate + transparent rakeback like Stars or ACR?

This is so unimportant in the grand scheme, but… Played CCR with 5 other people for a dinner at Nobu last night and the person that lost texted everyone this morning to say that it wasn’t in his budget and his wife is mad at him, so how would I like to pay him? Elon Musk@elonmusk·
Correct. My Tesla and SpaceX shares, which are almost all my “wealth”, only go up in value as a function of how much useful product those companies produce and service. This means my “wealth” can only increase due to producing more products and services for the public. Moreover, anyone else who is a shareholder in Tesla and SpaceX, which incudes employees, participates in the upside of stock appreciation. That is because I am a maker, not a taker like the Bernie Sanders type politicians of the world. They take and they’re on the take, because they cannot or will not make.
toly 🇺🇸@toly

🧠🪱 Elons stocks aren’t wealth. If the number of Tesla shares doubled the world isn’t any richer. If the number of Tesla cars doubled, it’s measurably richer. For him to get to $1t in capital, he has to organize labor to set the means of production in motion to produce enough consumer wealth that his companies are worth trillions. Aka he has to ship wealth to consumers. Whoever runs on inequality isn’t a socialist. They aren’t running on “let’s build more houses or more hospitals” because they actually can’t find anyone competent who can organize labor so these things end up being built. The outcome is always just more state debt and inflation.

I haven't listened to Earl Sweatshirt or Dijon or Los Tuthanakos yet and making this list reminds me that I should throw those on right now.
