@DieudoneHA Nothing more satisfying than food you grew yourself! Grafting tip is key. Waiting 10+ years for avocados tests anyone's patience. 🥑

🥑 Grow an Avocado Tree from Seed 🌱 1️⃣ Prepare the seed Clean the avocado pit and place it half-submerged in water with the pointed end facing upward. 2️⃣ Allow roots to develop Keep the seed in water until roots and a small stem begin to grow. 3️⃣ Plant in soil Once the roots are strong and the stem appears, transfer the seed to a pot with well-draining soil. 4️⃣ Encourage strong growth Place the plant in a bright location and water regularly without leaving the soil soaked. 5️⃣ Use grafting for fruit production Trees grown only from seed may take many years to produce fruit. Grafting a productive variety onto the young plant improves chances of harvesting avocados. 6️⃣ Maintain the tree With sunlight, proper watering, and occasional pruning, the tree can grow into a healthy fruit-producing plant. 🌿🥑

@TheFigen_ Having lost both my parents young, I can tell you how true this is. Probably my biggest pet peeve is when I hear others my age complain about theirs or don’t prioritize their relationships with them

Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada spoke about the contradictions of human nature: “Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one hardly ever use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about their living relatives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have one often don't appreciate it. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the satiated complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.” The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.

Clove farming in Kenya offers patient farmers a path to long-term wealth through one of the world's most valuable spices. Known locally as karafuu, the dried flower buds of the clove tree have been traded along the Swahili Coast for centuries. Today, this crop provides an opportunity for farmers willing to invest time in a tree that produces for over 100 years. The global market for cloves remains strong. Indonesia leads world production, but the Kenyan coast is establishing itself as a source of quality cloves. Coastal counties like Kwale, Lunga Lunga, Kilifi, and Lamu provide the warm, humid conditions that clove trees require. Farmers in these regions are discovering that karafuu can provide steady income for generations once trees mature. The numbers demonstrate the potential. A mature clove tree yields 2 to 4 kilograms of dried buds annually. At wholesale prices of 1,200 shillings per kilogram, each tree generates 2,400 to 4,800 shillings per year. With 120 trees per acre, gross revenue reaches 288,000 to 576,000 shillings annually. At retail prices of 2,400 to 3,000 shillings per kilogram, the returns increase significantly. And a well-maintained tree produces for over a century. This guide by Farmers Trend Ltd. provides everything you need to know about commercial clove farming in Kenya. You will learn about botanical requirements, propagation, the waiting period, harvesting protocols, value addition through clove oil, and financial projections. The information comes from agricultural research stations and successful growers along the coast. farmerstrend.co.ke/trending/clove…
