Ngl it hurts to see this. I don't even want to ask "what went wrong" with @ForgottenRunes. I'm seeing a lot of people ask "what went wrong?" and frankly I don't think anything did, the team made out with a fat bag of community/VC money they were able to get their hands on due to false promises, and went back on their word to TGE because it would cost them money. You can't morally call the money they generated "earned revenue" when it was "revenue" built on a lie they fed the community. I'm tired of seeing shit like this. They raise money on false promises to the community and end up not delivering on their promises. Yes, crypto is a casino, but we can't have a casino where the house has a 99%+ edge and the players are left with scraps while being called extractors. Its crazy to me that in web2 a solo dev built out @DreadmystOnline out of his fucking bedroom with 0 funding while maintaining a full time job, and projects raising tens of millions manage to rug everyone Don't touch any gaming project that isn't giving out prizes in USDC or an existing token, financialization is part of the loop and fun in crypto gaming

Dear Wizards, After careful considerations, we've made the ez decision to formally rug the game. It costs us money, which we never intended, and that's a big obstacle for us. That said, we want to be absolutely clear: We are not abandoning the Runiverse. There will come a time where we will need to extract more funds from the community, and so we are keeping all doors open to drop future collections by selling many a promises for your sweet, sweet ETH (or BTC if we feel like it again) We are very proud of how much money we've managed to extract from the community. In the meantime, don't bother with our discord because it's barren and we've stopped updating and maintaining it altogether. We'll see you again when the time is right. Thanks for all the fish, ya bitches, peace.
