@BitMEXResearch Was that really SSRN taking action though? The updated PDF is still not the original whitepaper, but rather one based on CSW's previous forgery. Looks more like he simply uploaded a new fake that just removes his name.

English

Today the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) finally removed the forged metadata on the Bitcoin white paper they host, removing "Craig Steven Wright" as the author

@Coinulaire It was also clearly not the only non-existent case citation in Wright's application, so this wasn't some one-off thing. Do you suppose a judge makes these kinds of statements lightly?

English

@Coinulaire That's "Anderson v Her Majesty's Attorney General for the Isle of Man [2021] UKPC 20". Wright's "[2013] UKPC 2" was an entirely different case. It's not a typo of the year, number *and* parties, it's just a random mashup of adjacent data, i.e. exactly how AI hallucinations work.
English

Craig Wright was just denied permission to appeal the UK court decision declaring him not to be Satoshi Nakamoto. He thus remains the only human with that distinction; legally speaking, we are all (potentially) Satoshi, except Craig Wright.

@Tak_Horigoshi @hascendp6 Well, he didn't say *that* was his official Twitter account? Also, it's not called Twitter anymore so by definition it can't be his Twitter account.
Checkmate coretards.

Imagine verifying your Twitter account in your own name, Tweeting from it for two years and then trying to convince a court that it belongs to somebody else on the say-so of nodding lady. This is Craig Wright's evidence that he's not in contempt of court. 🤦🏽♂️ #COPA #Faketoshi #BSV

English

@Tak_Horigoshi @Twentynothing00 Maybe it's short for "reviled"?
English

@DrFunkenstein6 @Tak_Horigoshi Like Nigerian scam emails, the messaging being awful and easily debunkable actually helps select for the most gullible people.
Doubt he's clever enough to do it intentionally, but survival of the fittest itself selects for this behavior among scammers.
English

Craig Wright is (surprise!) lying to his fans about the fake list of addresses that he produced for court in Florid purporting to be a list of his Bitcoin holdings.
Does this dumb idiot not realize the court documents, like the one below bearing his signature, are public?

a void (leaks)@Tak_Horigoshi
And here it is. "The receipt of these documents and my inspection of them allowed me to recognize the authenticity of the other documents, including the list of public addresses."
English

@Tak_Horigoshi He'll just say he recognized their authenticity as inauthentic.
English

@Twentynothing00 @Arthur_van_Pelt @gavinandresen And yet instead of listening to the signs that Craig was a fraud, Gavin was primarily focused on helping Craig improve his messaging so he wouldn't look like a fraud to others. Well and truly captured by the con long before the "key signing".
English

It is actually painful to see how close @gavinandresen was to rumbling Craig within a few days of their introduction.

English

@CSWr18714397 That's not what CPR PD 5A paragraph 5.1 says. Are you getting your legal advice from ChatGPT?

If you have questions like "why didn't I get 21% of my BTC?", then read my explainer on the payouts and the unit of account that payout rates refer to.
Long story short: it's complicated, and the actual payout number you presumably care about is 15-16%.

@Arthur_van_Pelt It's clearly the threat of digging into the funding that motivates Calvin to keep paying, so unsurprisingly Mellor keeps it hanging over their head like the sword of Damocles. Well done.

Summary.
Pineapple Hack case: "The claim is certified as totally without merit.", Craig pays all costs.
Copyright case: "Claim is dismissed as totally without merit.", Craig pays all costs.
CobraBitcoin case: "All 6 previous orders 2021-2023 are set aside."
