@NoContextHumans You made $200 on first transaction, lost $100 by buying back, made $200 by reselling $200 (profit) - $100 (loss) = $100 Profit is $100

@Mike15087215 @SophiesNewWorld @NoContextHumans @grok Nothing says you start with $800. If you only had that, you wouldn't be able to buy the cow again for $1100. Let's say you start with $1000 After each step... -800 = 200 +1000 = 1200 -1100 = 100 +1300 = 1400 $400 more than you started with. $400 profit.

@AStratelates I start to worry that the grocery store employees might start noticing that I've been down the same aisle three times and have bounced from one side of the store to the other five times.

@AntHoneyJakes @BioMedSteve @RealMattFradd It's false to say that saying Mormons believe in a different Jesus than Trinitarian Christians comes from a misunderstanding of LDS theology. You displayed this by showing ways in which LDS understanding of Jesus is different from a Trinitarian understanding of Jesus.

@wil_da_beast630 I’d be fine with that being the requirement for anyone to vote. Or just last year’s tax return proving you paid net tax (no eitc, etc).

@MoternMedia Is Matt Farley going to give the cat in the background the attention it rightly deserves?

Matt Farley is sick and tired of being written off as a talentless, opportunistic, song-spamming hack. He’s not gonna take it anymore.

@AbuCortex @LRiriac @TierZoo @ChristianityOn I could buy that, at least with just "pure" communication (e.g. text via internet, like this). Now if they have to meet in person... whoever is outside their culture is going to be under a lot of stress because NDs don't handle being out of their comfort zone as well as NTs

@wjnewcomb @LRiriac @TierZoo @ChristianityOn I actually hold the belief that neurotypicals of different cultures are more likely to offend each other than autistic of different cultures, purely because of autistic blank slate cultural affiliation, verses neurotypical over reliance on local cultural connotations

@dyingscribe I'd say the form is the bigger issue than the one-handedness. Not saying it can't be done, but I would expect AI to go for the more standard form. Still feels like a gaff to me

@frozenaesthetic I had one therapist (male) who gave very "feminine" therapy. Just affirmation. I missed a sesh, then ghosted him (and he never tried to get in contact again, which is telling) My current therapist (also male) is more helpful because he calls me on my BS and challenges my behavior

Therapy is feminine idk I'm not saying men can't benefit, but the way it works seems more helpful to women out of the two Offering feminized solutions to men likely doesn't help a lot of them

@quincylsb @Frollein_VogelV They may think women are people, but that's different from acting as if they are. Many people behave in a way that shows, deep down, they don't think of women as having moral agency.

No one in 2026 thinks that women aren’t people. That’s not only laughable, but that notion has absolutely nothing to do with modern feminism. Modern feminism is about diminishing masculinity and men, but also wanting to be men, co-op men’s spaces, entertainment, etc while also keeping the benefits of being a woman and living off of men.

Feminism often frames cruel women as products of male socialization. It assumes women are “born good” and would be peaceful in a world without men. That view underestimates the inherent capacity for aggression, dominance, and cruelty that can also exist in women.

@nightsdrive_ @DPN098 @dyingscribe This is not a joke. It's a development of how Goku beat King Piccolo by using a Kamehameha (one-handed btw) to propel himself upward and pierce through his body. He follows up the foot variant with a double punch to Piccolo Jr.

@AbuCortex @LRiriac @TierZoo @ChristianityOn People put up soft "fences" around the conversation. These can be very difficult for NDs to recognize so they overstep them without realizing. I have ADHD (and my wife suspects mild autism). I've had to learn these actively. It wasn't intuitive, but the patterns can be learned

@AbuCortex @LRiriac @TierZoo @ChristianityOn Oftentimes it's not about just that one imprecise response. Vague answers are often a sign they don't want to talk in depth. Could be because they don't know. Could be because it's emotionally taxing. Could be because they don't want the other person to know details
