9news is going away because it deserves to go away. It’s been many years since a person could tune in and just get unbiased news. Opinion disguised as news doesn’t serve the public good. As someone who used to really appreciate Carl Akers, et.al, I’m glad 9news is being put out of everyone’s misery. Good riddance.

Journalism is supposed to make people uncomfortable Even when some of the discomfort happens upstairs. Inside offices I never see. Filled with people I don’t really interact with. 9News has been special for me because of that.
