And thousands of jobs to New Yorkers… I’ll bet he can open a grocery store for under $30mm.

The man @NYCMayorsOffice is trolling gave $400 million to @MSKCC_BreastCA cancer hospital, $60 million to @SuccessCharters & $40 million to #NaturalHistoryMuseum. So, yeah Zohran, I think Ken Griffin is “paying his share.” Such a jackass, juvenile move to play @DSA class warfare with Griffin. Grow up. @nycgov @CMFrankMorano @CM_KMarmorato @GaleBrewerNYC @CMSandyNurse @SpeakerMenin @LincolnRestler @OsseChi @JoannAriola32 @vmmalony . Zohran, put the ego aside & try showing appreciation 4 this philanthropy.

If you count cards in blackjack, skip the Fontainebleu in LV. I got busted and didn't even get a comp for a meal. Stick to Treasure Island and some of the downtown clubs.

some have asked me about my time in Renaissance Technologies. although I’m retired I can’t really say much due to NDA, but I have an unseen interview snippet from my ex-colleague Nick (hope the kids are doing well mate) that I’m comfortable to share. a lot of alpha in there

I find the quality of content on QuantTwitter disappointing. so in the next few weeks, I will be sharing novel stories about practitioners/legends, resources, anecdotes & many more to kickstart this initiative I would like to share one of the most valuable websites for quant:

The thing I always liked about commodity markets is that at the end of the day it isn’t about who is saying what but about supply and demand.

Cannot wait to go to @Disneyland with my 3-year-old grandson tomorrow. During this Holy Week, I am reflecting on how grateful I am that the Lord blessed me with my wife and a family with grandchildren. The left attacks the family and calls it an "expense". I never cared about the expense and focused on the richness my kids gave my life. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’ . . . And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them, and blessed them.” Hope you have a blessed Holy Week with your family.

For 250 years, the American story has been defined by courage, discovery, and the unyielding pursuit of what lies beyond the known. Tonight, that legacy ascended once more with power and purpose. Godspeed, Artemis II. 🇺🇸🚀

After years of telling everybody else how to run the country and months of deliberation, I have a special announcement: I’m running for President of the United States in 2028. I am aware of what happened the last time I worked in the White House. But I do believe I can help guide this country in the right direction. Join me and help me heal America. Mooch 2028 🇺🇸

I recommend checking out Yahoo Scout. It is a beta product built using Claude. The layout is superior to other LLMs. scout.yahoo.com

@stevehou The US may have lost the war but China has won without firing a shot. If I were in Taiwan I would be nervous.

It’s not easy to tell from counting the missiles, drones, targets destroyed and damages made. But it seems to me increasingly clear that the US has lost the war. Iran won by simply not capitulating. What’s unclear yet is what else has been lost for the US and potentially Israel.

@JulianKlymochko IMO, the drawdown of the Strategic Petroleum reserve after the invasion of Ukraine exceeds the Keystone pipeline blunder. Today the reserve is only 60% full and hasn't recovered from the 2022 release.

@elizabethrray @JoeLombardoNV Why not have a tax holiday on gas? If WTI exceeds $100/bbl, taxes are cancelled on a gallon of gas. Only Nevada residents would benefit.

Joe Lombardo presented a gas tax holiday; Democrats blocked it. Joe Lombardo asked you to sue Gavin Newsom to stop CA energy mandates in Nevada; you refused. Despite this, @JoeLombardoNV has started a fuel resiliency subcommittee in NV and fought CA prices hikes over and over.
Aaron D. Ford@AaronDFordNV

Gas prices and unemployment are both HIGHER today than when @JoeLombardoNV tweeted this. Lombardo has allowed costs to soar and Nevada to lag behind in job growth. We deserve better. As Governor, I’ll fight to make our state affordable.

If Warren Buffett is truly the greatest investor of all time how do you explain these numbers? Michael Marcus: 120% CAGR over 10 years Richard Dennis: 120% CAGR for 19 years Bruce Kovner: 87% CAGR over a decade Ed Seykota: 60% CAGR for 30 years William O'Neil: 40% CAGR for 25 years Maybe the real question isn’t who’s the greatest it’s what strategy truly wins
