You want to know the most efficient land use in Britain? Not almonds. (You can't grow almonds here. The climate would make them feel personally attacked.) Not avocados. (Laughable.) Not quinoa. (We tried. It's fine. It's not fine.) Grass. Which grows on the 65% of British agricultural land that cannot support arable crops. Which feeds ruminants. Which converts that grass into complete protein, saturated fat, and fat-soluble vitamins through a digestive system that has been running without modification for forty million years. The cow is not a problem to be solved. The cow is the solution that was already here.

Stanford CS graduating class of 2026 just got their final placement statistics Out of 312 graduates: 18 have full-time offers That's a 5.8% placement rate from the most prestigious CS program in the fucking world 2019 placement rate was 94%. 2022 was 78%. 2024 was 31%. Now this. The other 294 are fighting over 47 internships that require "3+ years production experience" Career services is telling them to "consider adjacent fields" while the department just took a $50M donation from a company that replaced 2,400 engineers with Claude One kid showed me his rejection tracker: 1,247 applications since September. 12 phone screens. Zero offers. His parents refinanced their house for his tuition The career fair had 8 companies and 300 desperate students in $180k of debt Meanwhile the CS department just announced they're expanding their PhD program because "industry demand for AI research has never been higher" The same week they sent acceptance letters to 89 new undergrads These kids thought they were learning to be engineers. Turns out they were training to be obsolete.

“But the curse of every ancient civilization was that its men in the end became unable to fight. Materialism, luxury, safety, even sometimes an almost modern sentimentality, weakened the fibre of each civilized race in turn; each became in the end a nation of pacifists, and then each was trodden under foot by some ruder people that had kept that virile fighting power the lack of which makes all other virtues useless and sometimes even harmful.” -Teddy Roosevelt

This is the best 5 minutes and 50 seconds I have spent in quite a long time. I encourage anyone and everyone to watch. The amazing thing is that ALL OF IT has been in plain sight for a very long time, yet very few people have seen it or are seeing it. It's the genius of Trump. He intentionally creates a bombastic, almost clownish facade that purposely obscures his exquisite grasp and attainment of strategic goals. Most people fall into Trump's trap--but not this British commentator. He lays bare exactly what America's geopolitical strategy is, but the thing is--it's always been bare and always been obvious and always been in plain sight. You just had to see past the deception plan.

It’s about 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 — and America is winning on every front. Start with oil. The Strait of Hormuz carries 𝟒𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚’𝐬 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲. Trump effectively captured Venezuela’s oil supply in January. As Armstrong put it: “𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘸𝘩𝘰’𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯. 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴.” China is in the middle of a tariff negotiation with Trump — and suddenly its entire energy supply depends on American goodwill. Then Europe. With Russian energy off the table and domestic energy hollowed out by the “𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘻𝘦𝘳𝘰,” Europe is becoming 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐬. Armstrong: “𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰.” Armstrong connected the dots to what the Pentagon calls 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 — Greenland through the Panama Canal, the entire Western Hemisphere secured as a self-sufficient American economic and security zone. “𝘕𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦-𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢.” The most striking part was his warning for Britain: “𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘞𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 60% 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥. 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺. 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥.” He described Britain heading toward 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 as America withdraws from its traditional role. When a foreign ally’s own news anchors are publicly acknowledging that Trump’s strategy is working — even as it leaves them behind — that tells you everything about who has the leverage. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬. 𝐇𝐞’𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬.

Iran just aired this on state news for its supporters. They showed how the American rescue mission for their pilot totally failed. How US forces got ambushed and surprised by the mighty IRGC. How one bullet from IRGC hit the MC-130 engine, how they took out the Black Hawk helicopters, and how they “destroyed America.” At the end, the narrator brags that this epic failure is why America is now negotiating with Iran… and has surrendered. @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @marklevinshow @RapidResponse47

The war in Iran must now become a line in the sand, because how we emerge from this crisis will define all of us for a generation. We will build a Britain that is stronger, more secure and more resilient. That is what this moment demands. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

In April 1975, the Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot, seized power in Cambodia and immediately launched one of history’s most radical communist experiments. Obsessed with Maoist ideology and a fanatical vision of “pure” agrarian socialism, they declared “Year Zero”: a complete reset of society that would erase capitalism, money, cities, markets, private property, and even the concept of the family. Within days they emptied Phnom Penh at gunpoint, driving two million people into the countryside. Intellectuals, teachers, doctors, engineers, even anyone who wore glasses or spoke a foreign language were labelled “bourgeois parasites” and marked for elimination. Currency was abolished, schools and hospitals closed, and the entire population was forced into collective labour camps. Food production collapsed under central planning; famine followed. Those who protested or failed quotas were denounced as “enemies of the people” and killed. Between 1975 and 1979, roughly 1.7 million Cambodians - more than one in four - died from execution, starvation, disease and overwork in the infamous Killing Fields. The Khmer Rouge genocide was not a betrayal of communism, rather, it was its purest expression: an ideology that demanded that to achieve perfect equality, the regime had to liquidate every trace of the old order and exterminate the imperfect people who stood in its way.

I thought is was an April Fool’s Joke, but the AFP actually struck medals and handed them out for "service in response to Covid" So we handed out medals to police for harassing old ladies on park benches, forcing people to wear unless masks outside, and enforcing vaccine mandates thereby aiding & abetting abuses of human rights. Idi Amin would be proud. When do we start arresting politicians, police and bureaucrats for their human rights abuses during covid ?
