While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight.
That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job.
After all, if Kamala can do great things, why hasn’t she? Biden rarely shows up for work, so she’s basically in charge already.
The question comes down to this: do you want current trends to continue for 4 more years or do you want change?

@discord_support Cloudflare when crazy on all our Swedish IP-addresses. I guess we should call it a day and go home 🤷♂️ :)

@PaucotMartin @schickling I second this setup. Use wildcard-DNS-record, or the lolcat thing mentioned, that points to 127.0.0.1. No /etc/hosts or local DNS-servers necessary. Caddy will work as well.
This is the method I've chose to simplify the work for other devs in my team w/ a docker-based setup.
English

@schickling I use: Docker + Docker Compose + Traefik + Mkcert
This way I have https://myapp.localhost with locally trusted certificate and no clashing ports as every service is containerized and served by the reverse proxy.

@pwn4science @OriTomorrow Technically...there is: update the DNS-records and it's all gone. But that would just make Elons purchase the most expensive domain name purchase is the world.
English

@OriTomorrow yes, there isnt a switch or plug that will turn off twitter instantly today.
but there is another dimension: what this platform meant and how it was run has changed irreversibly in the last weeks, and thats another aspect of RIPTwitter

@unclebobmartin I have the opposite problem. If a friend decides to switch to android, it’s impossible to message them again.

@dgodon @GergelyOrosz If a company is connected to a union that union will negotiate on behalf of all the others. If not, they will have to negotiate with each employee’s union(s) before reaching an agreement. You can join: Unionen.se, Sveriges Ingenjörer or any other.

@twannl Ran “Annie” first. Was perfect anytime we were not at home. Preferred solution is a stand alone setup (camera + screen) but the options are limited and, to be honest, they mostly suck. Went with a Eufy Pan/Tilt for roughly $50. USB powered and supports HomeKit. Recommended!

@_kaizensoze When I interview a developer I ask them to bring anything to the table that is technical enough to build a tech conversation on in a second “meet one more” interview. Take home assignment is a backup alternative which I prefer not to do.

The <img> element now supports lazy-loading, async decoding and many other features: bit.ly/img-cwv I wrote about how to optimize UX & the Core Web Vitals with it.

@phishy @robwormald Ha! I always joke about giving it all up and becoming a sheep farmer. Just hanging out on a hillside with the sheep and enjoying the scenery
English

@CTOAdvisor Also... give the editor micro a try. It’s nice!
English

@martyn_ps @gitlab Yup! Agree on all of the above. Was naively thinking that this already would be working instead of relying on out-of-band storage mechanism. Good proposals already being discussed in the issue tracker!! 💪💪💪

@rjonesy Better than Teams at least. The added chat as an afterthought and never made anything to improve it.
