In my opinion trying to prove which system (centralised decentralised) is better is meaningless as is always depends on the actual situation. Both have + and - and both systems are good. And just for the record there are numerous cases of bank accounts being stolen (hacked) and there was 0 responsibility taken by the related banks. In any case my point is comparing is meaningless.
