No longer own @ObeyAlliance. I’ve been the only active owner left for some time and haven’t been as interested in the space for probably close to 2-3 years. I was trying to find someone to takeover the team for over a year but nothing came from it. That’s why I stepped away from my role 3 months ago. At one point I even tried to buyout the other owners, sign some of the original founders of Obey and basically hand them the organization on a silver platter for free. Instead I got ghosted after we locked in the deal lmfao. Oh well shit happens I guess. Even tho I have no interest being part of this space in any meaningful way, I do still have a lot of love for it because like a lot of you I grew up in it. That’s why my goal has always been to preserve and protect things that were part of that history. Unfortunately someone with deep ties to the community that wanted to buy Obey got outbid after some complications. I was originally gonna continue being an owner if they bought it. Sadly this put me in a position where I was forced to sell along with the other owners. Thank you to all the fans and Obey members that had been on this journey with me. We put out some incredible content on Obey over the years and created some incredible memories. Onto the next chapter.

@cristiisking @Rich_Cooper @Europarl_EN it’s not useless. they’re also pushing for more education and the help for victims. Just look at some of the comments under the post. It is pretty clear a lot of people don’t understand how consent works.

Sex is only sex when consent is freely given, informed, and revocable at any time. Everything else is rape. Parliament is once again pushing for an EU-wide definition of rape centred on the absence of consent.

There are clearly situations in which it's rape even without resistance (the victim is unconscious, sleeping, drugged, mentally handicapped, a child, etc.) But if giving in to a bit of pressure (I prefer to call it persuasion) is rape, I have raped a lot of past boyfriends. 🤷🏻‍♀️
