Highest infant rape rate in the world. Highest number of people living with HIV in the world. Highest murder rate in the world (between SA & Jamaica). Highest unemployment rate in the world. Highest road deaths in the world caused by alcohol. A national commission of enquiry after the South African Police Service is exposed for being a pivotal arm of criminality itself. Tembisa hospital looting. National loadshedding. Johannesburg, the economic hub of Africa (apparently), running out of water. At the government's annual State of the Nation address to the citizens that it serves; we must first watch and listen to our politicians show us the life of luxury that enabling all of the above has afforded them. We must read how "journalists" give their verdict on which of these officials looked the most glamourous. We don't hate the government and South African journalists enough. Trust me, they fucking hate us.

Minister Nokuzola Sisisi Tolashe, entrepreneur Rethabile Lethoko-Ncwana, Deputy Minister Nonceba Mhlauli, and cultural activist Ria Reen have arrived at Cape Town City Hall for the 2026 State of the Nation Address—sparking the question of who is best dressed. iol.co.za 📷: Vuyile Madwantsi #StateoftheNationAddress #CapeTown #CityHall #IOLSONA

I’m convinced this celebrity class of journalists, and the academic elite, know exactly that we are headed towards a Zimbabwe style “revolution”… their money, their contacts and their passports (or the money and the contacts that will get them out) will leave them largely untouched. They can stir the pot as much as they want, they’ll never have to eat the stew. But in the hope of being on the revolutionary good list, they will happily let ordinary South Africans feel the weight of a country that hates all its citizens and pay some imaginary price on behalf of people long dead.. all so they get to keep their nice Franschhoek-style lives which is the furtherest thing from how ordinary black and white South Africans live. I am really, really tired of white elites speaking on behalf of anyone, let alone me.

Dear @realDonaldTrump the “white genocide” didn’t reach Franschhoek. We had a wonderful discussion about non-racialism, the legacy of 1976 and the danger of nationalist projects. The Afrikaners are alive and well. @MaxduPreez @justicemalala @News24

Get real. In their own words, the police said they were afraid to investigate the grooming gangs due to fear of being called "racist". "Racist" also happens to be what a large portion of the British media called people who tried to bring them to light. People literally do nazi salutes to Jews in the street. At one time, you were also teaching Muslim kids through your influence, that gays were animals. Then you changed your ways apparently. You're a two-faced wolf in sheep's clothing. The real people stoking division are the celebrity class of pretend journalists and the intellectually hollow academic elites.

Prime Minister Starmer on today’s marches in London: “Perpetrators should be in no doubt: regardless of ideology, when they attack our minority communities, we will use the full force of the law.” Good.

Today the voices of division will be loud. They don't speak for the country I know, one that belongs to all of us. That's our Britain. A Britain worth fighting for. lbc.co.uk/article/keir-s…

You have every right to know what your government is doing, and they have no right to know what you are doing. That is why they are called public servants and we are called private citizens. Instead, the relationship has been inverted. The state hides behind secrecy, classified files, and redactions while demanding total visibility into your finances, communications, movement, and behavior. A society where the rulers live in privacy while the population lives under surveillance is the very definition of tyranny.

‘English Patriot’ Tommy Robinson says he’s “spreading the word about the failed state of Britain” while on tour in America. The far right activist is also boasting about an invite to the State Department; Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, helped make it happen. Time to remind ourselves how & why their toxic bromance began: Why is Elon Musk backing Tommy Robinson? | WATCH Long Story Short: youtu.be/O_AbofNISqw?si… via @YouTube

There is no context to this video. Just showing highlights, can lead people to make personal emotional judgements.. so many on here make a judgement without knowing that full story. And yes the behaviour was completely unacceptable but why did it begin in the first place? Who started it? What was it about?

Horrifying video circulating online shows a man suddenly running up and kicking a baby stroller at the Nassau County Courthouse in Mineola, NY. Witnesses say the stroller had a young child inside when the suspect approached without warning, delivered a hard kick, right in front of officers. Thankfully, the baby appears to have avoided serious injury, but the mother is understandably traumatized.

I doubt capital gains tax will ever be something I have to worry about and even I don't think it should exist. It's not from-the-pit-of-hell evil like estate/inheritance tax.. but it's still ridiculous.
Senator Babet@senatorbabet

Capital gains tax shouldn’t exist. I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk. So why the hell should the government take a cut of my success? They risk nothing. They create nothing. They just take. Parasites. F’en parasites.
