As a huge Smiths fan, I also find this delightful. "Past Instances In Which I Professed To Like You Were Fraudulent" is especially 👌 (And special thanks to Eamon Doyle for coming up with this & @GCS_Pottsy for bringing it to my attention)

I saw this online and it made me burst out laughing, as someone who listened to a lot of The Smiths as a teenager. @thatbilloakley @Joshstrangehill #thesimpsons #morrissey #thesmiths

@woollensocks Hey David. Relaxing by the beach in Turkey having just enjoyed the free sample Kindle chapter of The Magic Hour 😊 I think I'll splash out on the whole thing 🤔 A nice read.

God speed to one of the greatest drummers of all time, Blondie's Clem Burke. This entire drum beat should be put in The Louvre. x.com/JukeBoxNonStop…

American filmmaker David Lynch has died, aged 78. In 1990, he spoke to Barry Norman about translating ideas to film, his 1950s influences and the 'lucky' untied shoelace that may have helped him win the prestigious Palme d'Or for Wild at Heart that year.

@rorysutherland Check it’s not the “Umberto Eco” setting, where your dishes remain dirty but emerge with a deep and lyrical understanding of semiotics.

The "Eco" setting for a diswasher should mean "I'll only start working when there is abundant clean electricity" not "I'll take four and a half hours cleaning your dishes in a slightly shit way."

Tesco, good, occasionally busy later. Sainsbury’s, moderate to good, rough in toilet roll aisle. Asda, light to moderate, heavy crowds by evening. M&S and Co-Op, fair. Waitrose, fair to moderate. Lidl, rough at first, easing later. And that’s the end of the Shopping Forecast.

Sorry, but I really hope people who love #thewildrobotmovie know it was inspired by my book. It's mentioned in the credits but most people don't read that stuff. If you love the movie you should check out the book! There's more to the story and it's a quick read. #thewildrobot
