Wife named the dog Halo. You try shouting that. People turn around. They wave, they say hello back. He's old as fuck now and doesn't listen, so I'm the twat in the park shouting HELLO at a deaf spaniel. Next one is getting called Bob or Tony. A proper name.

@higgyboson My son was sad today about something trivial at school. I read your post and thought of Edward and put my phone down and listened. Thank you Edward.

This was the last text I ever received from my 34 year old Son, Edward. It was exactly a year ago today. Within hours he was gone. He decided he wasn't "OK" and he took his own life just after midnight. He was fighting on many fronts- Relationship problems, financial worry and issues with self esteem. I think about him 100 times a day. I'd do anything to get him back, even if it was just for 5 minutes. I'd say all the things to him that I didn't say when I had the opportunity. It's too late now. Please take care of your loved ones. Watch over them. Many are struggling. Many are thinking dark thoughts. Many will take the decision to end their own suffering. They need help and understanding. They probably won't get it from the "system" so it may be up to you. Give someone a call today to ask how they're doing. Tell them Edward suggested it.

@Herr_Sensenmann @higgyboson Suicide is not cowardice. It is a million things wrapped up into one. It is the saddest most desolate event that leave ripples for generations. It is a lot of things but cowardly, no, brave no, sad yes.

@higgyboson Sorry for your loss, it's never easy, but your son, Edward, was a coward. Just like my siblings and those I considered family were for doing the same thing, only cowards run from life's problems instead of finding a solution. There is always a better solution.

@LindseyGrahamSC @POTUS It's very simple. If Iran is not their war, then Ukraine is not our war. Pull all funding and support away from Ukraine ASAP!!!! Let them deal with Russia on their own.

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

@MelissaAFrancis @Manhattanpeachy Your commander is a)acting illegally and b) last month said we were irrelevant in Afghanjstan. He has alienated you rtw and flip flops his decisions. Your troops will be fighting there for years. We already have enough on with Ukraine.

@BKMuldoon @seanspicer Perhaps whilst they are there they can sort out the centuries and centuries of middle eastern conflict that Trump has stirred up, Tossed the keys into and said "it is yours to take". I can see why a cool head is needed to assess if joining in on day 1 is good.

@BKMuldoon @seanspicer They would have to work with millions. This will become shia v Sunni. Khomeni was a shia. Its opened the door to another world. You cannot just say "rise up and take it". There are ten million in Tehran.
