55 year old serial criminal activist Juliet Lamont claims five Israeli men were "bashing her and smashing her face" and claims she was "sexually assaulted" by Israeli forces. Who wants to tell her?

@Douglas180814 @luxemiaa @Delta No one said she lied. But I did enjoy your considered response to an informed reply on the original post. Feel free to open a dictionary to learn to use other expletives....and other big words you might not understand. Then again, reading & learning might not be your strength.

So Delta moved my seat without asking me. I'm standing in the airport and I get a notification that I've been reassigned to a different comfort plus seat. I paid for the seat I was in specifically so I could sit next to my boyfriend who also paid for his seat specifically so he could sit next to me. I walk up to the counter and the agent tells me they moved me because another couple wanted to sit together. I'm sorry what. I am also a couple. Who also wants to sit together. Move me back. There was a whole discussion about this but eventually she did it. Get on the plane and the couple in question is right in front of me. The gate agent looks at them and says loudly so sorry we couldn't get you seated together and then turns and gives ME a stink eye when I scan my boarding pass. Me. The person who simply asked to keep the seat I had already purchased. Then the guy........

@luxemiaa @Delta If the seat has been paid for, then a refund or compensation can be sought. Moving seats for other passengers on a request or whim is not Delta best practice. Other circumstances may have been in play, but it's unusual based on how I was trained & taught to handle seat changes.

@luxemiaa I do some work with Delta & this wouldn't have happened. We always try to improve the travel experience but generally move seats so young children are seated with their parents/carers, minors are next to females or to ensure wheelchair passengers are with carers/family. @Delta

Shame on the Basque police @ertzaintzaEJGV for brutalising Flotilla members returning home after being abducted, unlawfully detained and ill-treated by Israel. May those responsible be held accountable. We must resist the Israelisation of our societies.
Thiago Ávila@thiagoavilabr

OUTRAGEOUS! In front of their families and the entire Basque press, our Flotilla volunteers were attacked by the airport police in Bilbao, Basque Country-Spain, upon returning to their home country.

This letter in today’s Irish Times is magnificent. Please read and share Sir, – Micheál Martin’s hysterical over-reaction to the Israeli detention of Irish citizens participating in the Sumud flotilla embarrasses Ireland on the international stage yet again. These people were not innocent holidaymakers suddenly snatched at sea, but political provocateurs who desperately sought arrest and detention by Israeli forces. This event should be treated as the publicity stunt that it was. The real injured parties here are the ordinary Israeli and Irish taxpayers who have to pay for the arrest and repatriation of these middle-class narcissists. The best way for this Government to stop the genuinely shocking humiliation and mistreatment of Irish citizens would be to focus on the homelessness crisis in Ireland, or the ever-growing hospital waiting list, and ignore the self-indulgent gimmicks of the anti-Israeli lobby. – Yours, etc, DR DAVID WOODS, Dept of Classics, University College Cork.

I'm a middle eastern historian. My own family were made refugees. And this is my honest view of the Nakba (“catastrophe”) - the displacement of around 700,000 Palestinian Arabs during the 1947–49 war surrounding the creation of Israel. A thread. 🧵

It’s remarkable how the Jewish state of Israel is slaughtering, displacing, ethnically cleansing millions of people, receiving billions from western govts in arms & reparations & support… And at the same time there are thousands of Jews in western countries are claiming they fear for their lives because people are antisemitic… A conundrum we’ll ponder for decades.

The MTA just rolled out fancy new high-security subway gates in New York City to stop fare evasion… but this determined New Yorker had other plans. She waves a stuffed animal on a stick in front of the sensors over and over, trying to trick the gates into opening. When that doesn’t work, she drops right to the floor and crawls straight underneath like it’s no big deal. Sometimes the simplest (and cleanest) choice is just to pay the $3 fare instead of crawling around on a subway floor. Not every battle is worth fighting. What’s the craziest public transit moment you’ve witnessed?

So much distressing evidence before the RC. Among the worst of it is the person whose boss asked her to change her name to be less Jewish, to appease a client. Imagine saying hey make your name less Indigenous, client’s a tad racist. Can’t? Of course you cant, this is insanity.

@YESfortheVOICE @GemmaTognini @LeiblerMark True in years gone past but not today. All those nationalities freely maintain their culture & heritage and don't live in fear of being abused & vilified daily for doing so. Attacks against Jews simply for living & being Jews is widespread, ingrained & becoming commonplace.

@GemmaTognini @LeiblerMark Maybe ask one of the Greek, Italian, Lebanese, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Samoan etc etc etc migrants who've been asked since the first fleet to anglicise their name/s so that some whitie schoolteacher, boss, administrator etc etc can find it easier to pronounce

ZFA President @jeremyleibler was asked by Commissioner The Honourable Virginia Bell AC SC about what she described as the “difficult line” between delegitimising Israel and the views of those who are critical of Israel’s actions. Jeremy’s response was clear and must be shared!

@australian The Aldi owners have very deep pockets & large bank balances, so this minor realignment may slow Aldi's growth, which has been phenomenal, but it won't stop them eating away at both the big boys until recently, almost duopoly. @Aldi #Aldi @AAPNewswire @3AW693 #fairprices

Aldi’s Australian sales have slowed sharply, and profit has fallen for the first time in years as the German discounter struggles to hold shopper loyalty amid a renewed price war waged by Woolworths and Coles. Accounts lodged with the corporate regulator have revealed that Aldi posted sales of $13.94bn for 2025, up 4.8 per cent from the $13.3bn in sales reported in 2024 when sales rose by more than 10 per cent. bit.ly/4ugMg5E theaustralian.com.au/business/retai…

@newmrpford Not surprised to hear this given his ongoing deranged antisemitic musings & online bullying. Luckily his platform & profile continues to dwindle & the considerate, thinking, reasonable public is the major beneficiary. Good luck with the move north, Pete. Continued success.

I just spoke with Marcella Zemanek. “Mike Carlton made me cry on the day of Stan’s funeral. I was literally getting dressed to go and had the radio on. He said on air -amongst other things- the only reason he would go to Stan’s funeral was to ‘make sure he was dead’. He deliberately added to my grief when I had no personal issue with him so I’ve never understood why he did it that day.”
