@Felienne Certainly, excel had localised versions of formulas. That's _almost_ programming (or, maybe it is just programming...) In early versions you couldn't load an English version file in a Dutch version application. Seems like you can still get into trouble: answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice…

For a paper on localized programming languages, I am looking for more info on VBA in Excel 95, which was, apparently, available in different languages!! (and they stopped it again in Excel 97, allegedly)
