@InternetH0F What’s not being said is that the F1 drivers are constantly practicing this and NFL players are not.

@BOSSportsGordo My issue is that when walking or driving in a parking lot I can easily see who is backing out and get out of the way/stop because their backup lights come on. When you aren’t parked front in and just pull straight out, it’s much more dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers.

Serious question for people who back into parking spaces - what’s the point?

Four brothers with epic curls that scream ‘70s rock god vibes, perched on a log in a sun-dappled forest, delivering a raw, acoustic-electric twist on Pink Floyd’s timeless “Wish You Were Here”! 🌳🎸 Cajon thumps set the groove, bass lines rumble deep, shredding solos soar through the trees, and those harmonies? Chills. Shirtless energy optional but highly recommended. These guys from Mixed Up Everything just breathed fresh wilderness life into a masterpiece—total eargasm in under 5 mins! Did they crush it or what? 👇 #PinkFloyd #WishYouWereHere #RockCover

@jdhein22 @philbak1 @FoundersGirl If the front desk can get rooms turned over faster because they know you’ve checked out, guests can check in earlier. That’s the value to you. You are paying it forward.

@philbak1 @FoundersGirl So, from reading the comments, it would appear that a guest creates value to the hotel by actually checking out as opposed to leaving. But it would also appear that it is not valuable enough to compensate or reward the guest for doing so. Thus, a guest should never check out.

Boomers will literally wait in a hotel line to tell someone at the front desk that they are "checking out" instead of just going home.

Augusta Diaries (Sun) -What a freaking tournament. I still can’t believe some of the shots that Rory hit good and bad. The brain is a crazy thing and can make you do crazy things. Super stoked for him as he genuinely is a good guy. It’s great that he finally got this King Kong off his back. -Not the perfect finish but I was still able to play a decent round to shoot 1 under 71. I was able to play a really good front nine but fizzled a bit on the back. -I got off to a good start -2 thru 3 holes. I know I’ve said this before but playing this course with the Sunday pin locations that we all know and love is such a cool feeling. The shots are ones you’ve seen for yrs and I was able to pull off many of them. -I wish I was able to play 13 14 15 a little better. Those are three birdie opportunities if you can pull off the shots but I just wasn’t able to execute them properly. -It’s so interesting when the scores go up on leaderboards. When the first hole was posted by Rory there was such a groan and then a big cheer when he made his birdies. It was definitely a pro Rory crowd over Bryson. -This won’t be the last Augusta themed post so keep an eye out for some other stuff 👀 -Thanks for following my Augusta diaries, especially those that mentioned it to me in person this week and I hope to do it next yr too!

@andypollin1 Kind of an apples to oranges comparison. Clark played for many more years than Sharp, whose career was cut off in his prime.

Whenever I take a three-hour boat tour, I always bring one of these just in case. Proven effective.

This is by far the craziest video from the fire in Los Angeles. This guy is filming huge walls of fire surrounding a house they're in, and there's another person and a dog. I have no idea why they didn't evacuate or what happened to them. Let's hope they're okay. #PalisadesFire

😅 This is my spending on flights and hotels for 30 tournaments in 2024. Zero dollars spent on private flights, and rarely business class. Can’t imagine some of the top guys’ costs… At least I’m racking up some CC points!

@rajatsoni If everyone had to pay cash for their houses, the supply would dry up since the numbers of buyers would be drastically reduced. Less supply, more demand.

$625k home 20% down-payment $500k mortgage With a 6% interest rate and a 30-year term, you are paying $579,190.95 in interest. The $625,000 house cost you $1,204,190.95. This is equal to a $3,345 monthly rental payment, plus you pay for maintenance and repairs. Houses cost so much because people can borrow money that's created with the press of a button to buy them. If everyone had to pay in cash for their home, prices would drop significantly. Most people think mortgages are designed to help them. But NO. Mortgages are designed to earn profits for banks.

@zachmelloh26 Something I haven’t seen mentioned. If you retire early and are pulling from a 401k, there are subsidies worth thousands of dollars per year on the Health Exchange for lower (taxable) income people. If you are pulling from a Roth, you’ll get these subsidies.
