2 studies done by Air Canada and a consulting firm have proven expansion of Billy Bishop Airport is a terrible idea. It would increase traffic by 400% in downtown Toronto, destroy the harbour front inside and outside the island, increase pollution and devalue condos further.

@wreck_it_ryder @mrssdtcc @DannyAustin_9 People who fly in and out of Toronto for business cant afford to spend 45 minutes each way on the UP express. Driving is a gongshow in Toronto because of the by-laws that are brought to the people from council - bike lanes, parking restrictions, etc.

This isn’t something any of my followers will care about, but it’s my home so I’m going to say it: Doug Ford’s plan for the Toronto Islands Airport is a complete and utter disaster.

@Tuckerrr333 @mrssdtcc @DannyAustin_9 But I think being downtown actually is a disadvantage to most. It’s not the most accessible by transit and driving there is a nightmare. I feel like there are way better ways to spend tax payer money. Pearson is already expanding.
