If there is anything to learn from The Scouring of the Shire, it is that the truth of the King's reign must be pushed into every square inch of the corners of the world. This is the good work. This is our good work.

Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce the drop of our Boniface 2.0 pin this morning! It's so freaking clean. Just in time to chop down some idols this summer. Available now in the DVLP shop, $6. By God we'll have our home again. #DeusVult

I've taught Julius Caesar for almost twenty years & only just today realized Caesar's final line, "Et tu, Brute? Then fall Caesar!" not only breaks from iambic pentameter but breaks by lacking just one iamb, making it tetrameter. His final line is cut short just like his life.

@SummrWrites In the first church Jeff pastored, extremely rural, half the church went over to Grandma Betty's for lunch (they were all related). Not even sure there was a restaurant in that town open on Sundays. Necessity is the mother of perfection. 😉

Bret Weinstein’s analysis of the 80 Ivermectin court cases reveals a mind blowing statistic. In the 40 cases where Ivermectin was permitted, 38 survived. In the 40 cases where it was not, 38 died. Using a standard statistical formula, the chances that Ivermectin had no impact are roughly 1 in 20 quadrillion. Yet, we were denied this treatment. This is one of the biggest medical tragedies in modern history!

@Gallo_Woodworks @broadwaybabyto refusing to help woman who are miscarrying has led to several deaths. What do you think they have to do when a woman is bleeding to death during a miscarriage?

Asked the neighbor kid if he wants to stay for supper. He runs home to ask permission. Returns with a pecan pie from his mama. Y'all, the South is amazing.

Who makes better parents? Left-wingers or right-wingers? Right-wingers, says Jonathan Haidt, #1 NYT bestseller and one of the most cited living social psychologists. “Right-wingers make better parents than left-wingers, and there’s a lot of data on this.”

@Gallo_Woodworks @alfkkifine My high schoolers in my rhetoric class occasionally try to make this argument (always the weaker minded, more poorly discipled ones) and I give them, maybe two? facts and the issue is settled. It's literally the argument of a child.

@alfkkifine 75% of families that adopt are Christians who regularly attend to church. Please stop being silly and wrong, thank you.

People will stand outside abortion clinics trying to stop women, but never show up at orphanages to help the kids already here… like how tf does that make sense??

up watering BC "nothing is happening." And it's not that nothing will grow- weeds most definitely will. So despite what looks like no progress, trust the discipline, the formation mechanisms, the catechisms, the long days, and early mornings. Stay the course.

There is something fundamentally wrong with how we educate the young now. Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein at 18. Tolstoy published his first novel at 24. Napoleon was a general at 24. Pascal invented a calculator at 19. Mozart composed symphonies at 8. The common factor? All classically educated and trained. They were immersed in Greek and Latin, philosophy, mathematics, music, and history before adulthood.

I’m curious Twitter peeps: how many laundry baskets do you currently have/are using? My sister sent me a video about a theory that adhd households have at least 5 so I counted how many I have in use and it’s more than 10 😭🤦🏻‍♀️

Dear mamas, I will say this forever, for your sake. Babies are allowed to cry. It’s not indicative of your failure. It doesn’t mean you have to stop the important thing you’re doing and waste the next 2 hours trying to prevent the baby from crying. Let the babies cry.
