This is something I take more seriously than almost all other law. On anything you may see (flags, challenge coins, licensed engravings) those are personally licensed and authorized by me. To anything you may have seen recently? I have spoken to any and all creators, authorized or not. You know who you are. Unauthorized use will be prosecuted under federal copyright law. That is by a pretty cutthroat counsel who have been assigned to the entity that is SCALPCOM. Hitters. Tribal counsel keeps shined shoes and a nine. They review, safeguard, and finalize all policy that I write to protect the tribe. The tribe’s members (you) and IP will be protected at all costs, that is anything from member rights and privacy, to our identity. I will accept nothing less short of clandestine privacy for our members, and the utmost care in our policy and intellectual property protections. Copyrighting the entire SCALPER series was expensive. Very expensive. I personally bankrolled that with the intent of protecting the designs. And enabling them to be given freely in the form of patches, to be able to share them. The design came to me in a dream. I do not release a vector image (master file) online that I do not plan on having stolen. It’s just a fact of the matter. This is why I usually only publish photos of physical patches, and the new designs haven’t yet been revealed. Any vector online is actually a throw away version. The real ones will never be put online, and when you see the finished patches, they will be different. This is by design. The problem with being nice and helpful is it isn’t. This isn’t personal, it’s copyright law. Don’t be offended if I give you a hard no on any idea involving patches. “We should make a- “No, we aren’t,” Let me explain: the vendors who I utilize to make patches, stickers, engravings, coins, and flags are all under a very strict non disclosure agreement to protect the intellectual property of the tribe. No, the identities will not be shared for OPSEC. So if you take it upon yourself to send a design out to have something made, that opens the design up to IP theft by a vendor who isn’t under contract. So don’t. I’m not asking. Nobody has the authority to license or distribute any design other than me. If you hear of anyone making this claim, we got the bad kind of issues. I spent many hours hand creating them. Respect that. There have been extremely specialized one off projects. These have been authorized. However, they will not see the light of day outside of physical availability at the powwow, or very limited dead drops. And that is the only place you can get them. This is by design. For instance, there will be a limited number of flags available at the powwow. All proceeds for such items go to help pay for the powwow, and the remainder is invested back into GHOST DANCE to benefit members. That’s a pay what you want situation. I bankroll these. Notice at no time have I ever mentioned a sale. The SCALPER patch will always be free. This is bigger than money. “Bigger than guns, bigger than cigarettes” Anyhow, in case you ever wondered. P.S. So I debated whether to respond to @PhilNvestigates because my husband often points out, you shouldn't give liars exposure for their lies. But I want to illustrate how this kind of media manipulation works. My debate with Phil began with him denying that the Southern Poverty Law Center, which he has praised as being very important to his own work, has funded top leaders of white supremacist organizations, including one who was a part of organizing the Unite the Right rally and transporting people to the rally. Phil denied, in the face of the plain evidence of the indictment, that the SPLC is even charged with this. Obviously, this is incredibly discrediting for HIM and @NC5. He was extensively corrected and, frankly, laughed at for his fumbling attempts to explain away the SPLC's fraud. No doubt this angered him. So, what he did next was look through my replies, buried deep down in the mentions to find one that was mildly snarky. In response to someone saying he is gay, I replied, "He's not gay, but he has had three wives." Phil then for THREE DAYS used this flippant remark, (which I apologized for repeatedly), to try to distract from his running cover for the SPLC. Phil has made it his career to attack and disparage Tennessee Republicans. So his extensive use of SPLC materials is highly relevant here. But this is what left-wing media do. When they see that they cannot defend their positions, they make themselves out to be not just victims but the CENTER of the story. That is what Phil is doing here. For three days now, he has tried to turn the debate away from the SPLC to a mildly snarky reply that wasn't even made to him. He also during that time implied he is a Christian but would not (after HE made an issue of it) answer whether he believes homosexuality and abortion are compatible with Christianity. Then, when that was not going his way, he blocked me and apparently spent his weekend writing this essay about why he blocked me. He blocked me because he doesn't want to defend his lie that the SPLC did not astroturf white supremacy. That's it. All the rest is "look at meeeeeeee!" smoke and mirrors.
