What's the best way to decide the path forward when the book you're writing has multiple versions? I have a version started that is more middle grade to YA and a version that is adult. Both could work, and both are interesting to me.

@Contactwithcrea @RenaSartain I'm doing something similar to this with 4 main characters. Each having their own arch/book in addition to the main story.

@RenaSartain I have three main ones, and 2½ side ones that pop in when absolutely necessary. My three main POV characters each have a major story arc of their own, and each book in the trilogy focuses on a different one of them...

Me: I need to simplify my writing projects and focus on a single story that I can easily reach the finish line on. Also, me: Oo, what if I wrote this as a four book series with each book following a different MC of the four core characters!

@McphersonWrites For me, it feels more real in a way. I guess the difference between computer paper and book paper. Though I know it's still quality paper, even if it is white.
