@Nicolascole77 Often the work itself is the "easy part". What often lies behind our lack of progress is our lack of belief in ourselves.

The hardest growth is the kind you can't see on a daily basis. If you can measure it in 24 hours or less, it's incremental. Whereas anything exponential must be measured over longer time horizons. Trust the process.

@Codie_Sanchez I was just listening to Dickie Bush and Nicholas Cole today on thier podcast. They said "good sales is actuallly not persuasion, it is simply finding the right person who is in need of your product". When you do that the sale comes easy.

You never sell anyone on anything, you only get better at finding people who already want what you’re selling.

@CaroleneMeli No experience with Zoho....but have you tried Hypefury? I have played around with it a bit and it integrates with Linkedin, Twitter, Insta and Facebook. Let me know what you think and if it is what you are looking for :)

Groundhog day was a movie about most people's lives. You say you're going to change, you don't. 2020 becomes 2024 with no plot change.

@thejustinwelsh The hype about passive income is a bit overpromised and under delivered. The truth about solo work as you point out is best described by flexibility. It all still takes lots of work (hours) but on your own terms. Thanks for the peek behind the scenes!

If people are wondering, I'd say I work between 8 and 10 hours per day 3x per week. And 2-3 hours per day 2x per week. So, it's not too dissimilar from a 40-hour workweek except that the hours are organized by me. Don't buy the 1-2 hour daily hype.

Nobody works 2-3 hours daily and makes millions. But there are certainly days when I work 3 hours and then relax. If you're well organized, you can pull it off 1 or 2 times per week, max. A perk of solopreneurship I love.

Many promote willpower as the vehicle of change. When we "fail” it often turns to self blame. Blame can begin a slow spiral into the abyss of shame and self loathing. Is the problem our failure or the "failed promise" of willpower?

@TimStodz Very true. I have learned the hard way that you always have options. It’s just sometimes the option is often a very painful option and one that you had never wanted to take. But…..regardless of the pain it is best.

A Great Tip From Amanda Goetz Your "TWO DO" List At the end of each day, write down the TWO most important tasks you need to accomplish for the next day These two tasks should be things that directly move the needle on your goal, execute on those first and you'll win the day!

@dickiebush Ok….but is the Espresso hour going to be rebranded as the “Wim Hof” hour? It looses something for me 😉☕️

What I wrote today — Day 31 — Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 Total writing time: 1 hour, 30 minutes • Journaled on my plan to reduce caffeine intake (20 minutes) • Wrote 20 tweets to clear my backlog of ideas (40 minutes) • Outlined 7 ideas on the business side I want to start writing about (tech stack, meeting cadence, core values, etc.) (30 minutes) Another crisp 90-minute writing session, this one without any caffeine in my system. I’m currently waking up at 5 AM and sitting down to write at 6 AM. Replacing my early AM espresso with a quick round of Wim Hof breathing to wake me up. Working well and leading to more stable energy throughout the rest of the day. Highly recommend. Now—what did you write today? Leave a reply to let me know ✊

Building the business behind the digital product is far harder than building the product itself We need to talk less in the creator communities about building products and more about building businesses that happen to sell a product We are building businesses not just products

All my dad friends with 10-18 year old sons can’t get them to do anything with them. Want to go camping? Nope. Want to go on a hike? Nope. Want to ride bikes? Nope. Want a girlfriend? Nope. Want to get your license? Nope. They’re all addicted to video games.

I ran all the numbers, and I believe 25,000 email subscribers is the "smallest" audience needed to generate $1,000,000/year as a creator. This is with 5 revenue streams and realistic conversion rates. Let's dive in ➕ ✖️ ➗
