@pcshipp I’ve rotated so hard escaping vercel drama, I’m now on cloudflare

What nonsense is this. I trusted Vercel and gave all my keys into Vercel. Also the solution is vague: “just rotate your old keys”
It’s easy to say rotate, but I have 15+ keys inside my project
Rotating all keys at the same time and testing again whether the backend works or not takes more time and creates redundancy
Reading this security patch post still feels very vague

Vercel@vercel
We’ve identified a security incident that involved unauthorized access to certain internal Vercel systems, impacting a limited subset of customers. Please see our security bulletin: vercel.com/kb/bulletin/ve…

@PatronesHumanos You: €5,500
Her: €1,400
Total = €6,900
5,500 / 6,900 = 0.797 → 79.7%
1,400 / 6,900 = 0.203 → 20.3%
€1,200 × 0.797 = €956
€1,200 × 0.203 = €244
Calling 50/50 “fair” here is just financial abuse.
Keep it proportional.

Claude/OpenAI etc charge based on output tokens.
Default responses aren’t especially brief (“You’re absolutely right”, “I’d be happy to help”).
This repo cuts output (~75%) by enforcing concision.
Same answers, fewer tokens 🪨

@rezoundous this was always gonna happen. VCs made it cheap initially so youd get dependent like a drug dealer special.
Cheap first, then expensive and now you cant work without it so you're forced into paying for the API or another plan $$

Small update on a side project.
I built a missed-call capture system for my brother-in-law's electrical business last week. It’s pretty straightforward - voicemail comes in, gets transcribed, brother-in-law sees all the relevant information on a dashboard on his phone.
Name
Phone number
Inquiry
Urgency score
It’s saving him lots of time. He’s a busy man and at the end of the day the last thing he wants to do is spend an hour listening to his voicemails.
The urgency score helps filter the order of priority.
Someone calling about a power outage vs. someone wanting a quote for some work next month-those need completely different handling.
He sees the emergency stuff instantly, the rest goes in a queue.
Most small businesses are afraid of implementing AI because it sounds complicated.
I understand.
But it’s a small price to pay for something that will save you hours and hours that you can spend resting or with the fam.
Anyway, my side project is working. The next step is seeing if this same setup works for other trades.
If you want help automating the boring parts of your business, reach out.
