The 11pm EDT update on #Idalia includes the forecast of the storm to be a category 4 hurricane at landfall. Catastrophic impacts from storm life-threatening surge inundation is likely along portions of the Florida Gulf Coast where a Storm Surge Warning is in effect. Residents in these areas should follow any advice given by local officials. hurricanes.gov for more.
