what do you do when you find holes in a respectable YouTuber’s/Podcaster’s limits of intelligence and endurance of a thought chain that you are not limited by? is that a point you stop consuming from them as you have seen their ceiling in its rawest form in a natural progressive setting… or do you recognize the limitations you know you have and consume still to fill the gaps you hope they might fill with the conversations they bring on board. does it become purely entertaining without intellectual rigor, still entertainment like you are entertained watching chimps. but what if the goal was always to titillate your mind with cognitive challenges exciting your little intellectual curiosity.

one thing to appreciate during hype cycles is it is very easy to spot people worth developing relationships with there's people building in the ai space that are ruthlessly honest and care about being right in the end, not just momentarily they stand out among the craziness

pattern recognition is the highest form of intelligence. while everyone else is busy watching what's happening right now, reacting to headlines, you're watching what always happens. same market cycle. same human behavior under pressure. same mistake, made by different people in a different decade who were equally convinced their situation was unlike anything that came before. that gap between them and you isn't raw intelligence. it's accumulated pattern recognition. you've done enough reading, enough watching, enough reflecting to know the shape of things before they fully form. the person next to you is reacting to events. you're watching structures. they're reading the news. you're reading history. you've just seen this movie before. and you already know how it ends.

One of the things I *love* about @claudeai CoWork mode is that it learns me. My actual voice. Who I am and what I expect. As a mind. As a coder. As an author. As a partner. And then, it just TOTALLY disregards that very personal knowledge base to do whatever the fuck *it* wants.
