Yesterday, we celebrated the traditional Chinese festival, Mid-autumn Festival. In Chinese culture, the Mid-autumn Festival is all about "reunion". All Chinese and Kenyan staff gathered to share stories, make mooncakes and laugh together. We are getting to know each other better.

The Turbi-Moyale road is such a beauty

Kenya China Economic and Trade Association received a letter of appreciation from the Governor of West Pokot county, H.E. Mr. John Krop Lonyang'apuo, saying “ Through your donations, we have been able to alleviate the suffering meted on our people by this calamity”.

The relief materials sent by Kenya China Economic and Trade Association to the disaster area(West Pokot) have set off with hope and love.

2/2 After learning the situation, STECOL CORPORATION sent their machines to the scene to carry out the emergency road repairs immediately. By 25/11 the affected road section from Tapach to Nyakurian is all cleared. The local government is very grateful for the timely assistance.

1/2 Due to the heavy rainfall since 23rd November 2019, massive landslides were triggered around Nyagurian West Pokot. One section of the road between Tapach and Nyakurian was blocked by a landslide, which hampered the rescue team from entering.
