My hot take is that as women, we need to let ourselves be, more and more. Wear your natural nails, your natural lashes, rock your fro. For Chrissakes, we’re human beings not machines. The whole “maintenance” and now “beauty maxxing” culture has always rubbed me off the wrong way. Women please breathe and live! There’s nothing wrong with your natural state!

@ashakulthum Feggo (fggc Oyo) prefects went, and anyone who is interested too. I didn’t go but from my friends they really had an amazing, wild experience 😂 one could tell from the pictures and they usually read their experience on the assembly for us to catch up.

It’s really annoying, the number I’ve known all my life is about to get changed because somehow, somewhere, there was a data breach 😡💔 funny how the network provider can’t even proffer a solution they had to refer to the bank, and the bank had to advise to get a new one

Why should someone be able to use another person’s phone number to open a Moniepoint bank account. Where is the security, how did the person get an OTP for verification, are network providers now selling out active numbers to new users, cause i don’t understand

You won’t understand how dangerous the olodo pandemic is until it starts showing up in professions where competence is the difference between life and death.

I hate the fact that once you question a Nigerian’s intellect their automatic response is to start comparing how much money they have to you. So because you’re rich you think you can’t be stupid?

Are you available for a 10:00pm - 05:00am remote job. Break time is 12:00midnight - 01:00am? Seeing this all the time is so heartbreaking, because you’re feeding off on the desperation of job seekers and you’re using them to farm engagements. If there’s truly a job by that time, just post it at once, what is “sent to dm”, what are you sending that the masses can’t see?

Hi friends, I’m developing an archival collection on the Boko Haram insurgency and need help sourcing primary materials, particularly newspapers, magazines, government publications, and personal documents and photographs from affected communities, from northeast Nigeria focusing on the insurgency, dating from 2002 onwards. Materials held in private family collections are especially valuable and if you or your family have relevant materials and are willing to share photographs or scans, I would welcome the conversation. Contributors will be formally credited in the collection. Please feel free to share this post with anyone who might be able to help.

Don’t chase First Class alone, chase becoming well-rounded. Be the student and the story. Join clubs like AIESEC, JCI, and ENACTUS. Go where the leaders are made. Grades open doors; extracurriculars open rooms you didn’t know existed. Apply for internships early. Experience makes theory come alive. Your future self will thank you for the experience. Look out for fully funded conferences. Some of your biggest breaks come free. Keep your CV alive. Update it like your playlist. Build real relationships with your lecturers. You will need more than transcripts for recommendation letters. Your course mates are more than classmates. Don’t delete their numbers after graduating. Stay in touch. The network you build now travels with you forever. Your health is wealth. Rest is not a reward, it is a requirement. Ask questions. Engage in class. You belong in every room you walk into. Don’t shrink to fit in. University is where you expand, not disappear. Attend seminars and public lectures, even the ones outside your course. Curiosity pays interest. Document your journey. Keep a portfolio, a blog, or a journal. Your growth deserves evidence. Celebrate your small wins. They are the foundation that shapes your bigger story.
