Everyone talking about this race constantly doesn't change the fact that this is the craziest thing I have ever seen happen in an American political campaign

Animal Collective dropped Merriweather Post Pavilion on January 6, 2009; two weeks later, Obama was inaugurated. The future felt limitless.

@Nate_Tice I wouldn’t put the bears offense in the same category as the rams mate

off the top of my head.
scheme-wise I’m looking to see if offenses evolve, adapt, or vary their protections up more to account for defenses currently being so advanced in knowing how to break traditional rules.
I think the league-wide ADOT for QBs starts to creep up slightly as offenses understand they need to push the ball more. Defenses are playing so top-down and also doing things like dropping 8 more frequently, so more traditional dropback stuff (5 and 7 step concepts), especially from under center, continue to make a comeback. Especially on early downs. Defenses might be getting faster and putting more DBs on the field, running is one way to beat it but also continuing to threaten over the top is the other way to create space.
I’m also curious to see if offenses find ways to weaponize underneath throws. Lead blockers on swings, glorified middle screens on deeper concepts.

@aromack71 Would love that media outlet to explain what they view as that. I think they base it on combine invites and top all-star games. Reality is the games do miss players and the combine was voted on so early. Invite list would look way different if done 2-3 months later

Not true. There is no consensus NFL board. All 32 teams have their own board. This is the media trying to make it seem their like outlet’s board is general market value.

The Jags, Texans and 49ers account for like 8 of the biggest dozen reaches in the draft. Kinda fascinating to see teams deviate from the consensus board this far again.
