@Budgetdog_ Have you ever flown over 17 hours on a flight?
If you don’t fly first class, your kids will with their inheritance
English

I’ve never flown first class and I really don’t see the appeal.
It doesn’t even look much different.
I’m not going to eat/drink on the plane anyway.
There’s a bit more leg room which is certainly somewhat appealing but not the difference of first class and economy appealing.
What am I missing?

@dubsndoo Well if that house is now $2.2m that’s 100x more.
Pretty sure the average wage is not $192/hr.
That math, dipshit?
English

Boomers were making $1.92 an hour when these prices existed. Do the math dipshit.

@wwoodcox I know reading comprehension isn't everyone's strong suit but, fortunately, the original tweet refers to a decision made by Vancouver City Council, which doesn't affect what Burnaby, Victoria, or Kelowna do; let alone the rest of the country.

btw an electric heat pump can cool your home in the summer and keep it warm in winter but no gas furnace is going to cool down the inside of a place that's 34°

@67Dodge @AaronHectorCFP What if you spouse always earned the exact same income as you? We are in that scenario. Our retirements incomes are within $2000/year of each other and they were when we were working as well.
English

@AaronHectorCFP The answer is RRSP due to RRSP Spousal Account, income splitting with spouse capability with greater contribution limits.

@franco_nomics At one time Vancouver didn't want the world cup. Then they put in a very late bid and now they have this.. Congratulations on a horrible decision by Vancouver.

@cspotweet The bridge in Lethbridge is 3 years older and there is no talk about replacing it. It is the number one corridor for rail traffic to and from the US in Alberta. Major dependance on the Lethbridge bridge.
I would have the railway evaluate the High Level Bridge.
