@davidaxelrod Most Americans agree that the last administration was derelict in this regard, gaslit the American people claiming there was no issue, and used MSM mouthpieces such as yourself for cover. Do you agree?

Yes. This is the entire quote, not just the front porch half quoted in anti-Talarico attack ads. We need a workable system, including an enforceable border AND striving immigrants, who have been part of America's secret sauce from our very inception! Most Americans agree!
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

James Talarico: “I’ve always said that our southern border should be like our front porch. There should be a welcome mat and a lock on the door. We can both welcome immigrants and we can keep out people who mean to do us harm”

James Carville on Trump: “I want us to think together how much we hate the motherfucker. It’s a refreshing, but genuine visceral hatred we have. I don’t want him just to be alive this November. I want him to be cognizant. Because I want him to know how much the American people hate his fucking guts”

On Sunday, I gave the commencement address at Wesleyan University in Middletown. I spoke of the cult of efficiency, which speeds us up, addicts us to technology, robs us of in-person connection. I asked the graduates to be wary of a culture that prizes relentless optimization.

And yet the top UC medical and undergraduate campuses continue producing outstanding physicians, scientists, engineers, researchers, and graduates despite years of internet prophecy that diversity would cause institutional collapse. The problem with these arguments is that “merit” quietly gets reduced to standardized testing alone, while every other dimension of human capability is treated as contamination. Medicine does not work that way. Law does not work that way. Engineering firms do not work that way. Hospitals do not work that way. And importantly, remediation is not proof of institutional failure. Every serious educational system has remediation because human beings are not assembly-line products sorted perfectly by test scores at age 17 or 21. The deeper obsession here is not competence. It is the belief that numerical ranking systems should rigidly determine social hierarchy — and that any deviation from those rankings must be corruption. Real life is messier than that. Fortunately.
John U Choi DDS, PhD@jcperio1

They got rid of SAT to eliminate an Asian majority among its matriculants at the top UC's, such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego and UC Irvine; the side effect is having to offer remediation to their matriculants. Diversity or racial quotas should never trump merit.

A black girl attacks a white kid in a classroom and it gets out of control pretty fast... She's swinging out, he's got her partially restrained, defending himself from the punches until he's had enough. In the heat of the moment, he slams her head on a desk Did he go too far?

@breccastoll @mirandadevine Here's the scam: Mandate improvements on the landlords that cost a lot of money, BUT the landlords cannot raise rent to pay for the repairs & improvements. When they don't do the mandated improvements, seize the property. Classic socialist takeover that will result in ruin.

George Floyd Someone may ask, "Who is George Floyd?", but the better question is, "What is George Floyd?" We no longer view him as a man since his humanity was stripped from him when he became a totem for political religiosity. The left used his story to campaign. The right fell into the trap by feeding into the story. But the controllers used him to keep Americans divided. The truth is, George Floyd's story was a completely random event. Instead of viewing it as such, the peons of political discourse dove into the tiny intricacies of the case for self-importance. Their chase was driven by the desire to score insignificant points against their political foe. Purely ego-driven with no goal, destination, or solution. The only thing that made the George Floyd event spark interest was the fact that the police officer was white and George was black. If the cop had been black, nobody would have known George's name. The left used his corpse like a carrot to draw black voters. But the more clever plan was to use George Floyd to expose the lack of humanity among the right wing. The trap was set, George was the bait, and the right wing's bigotry was the prey. Right-wingers clamored to discredit George Floyd and absolve the cop of wrongdoing. A brutal mistake that exposed their lack of humanity. Their rhetoric proved the left-wing was right about them. It gave the left more ammunition and black people more to hate republicans. But more crucial, it exposed their lack of tact and strategy. Their fatal mistake was allowing the left wing to control the conversation around the election. They fed into the George Floyd story and thus fought on enemy territory. "One mark of a great soldier is that he fights on his own terms or fights not at all." SunTzu Now that the fight is being had on left-wing terms, they hold all the cards. The concerns of conservatives are pushed to the back burner. The controllers easily steer the attention of the herd away from importance to the frivolous. And right-wingers fall for it every time. Why? Because red whites identify with the controllers. They think because they share the same skin color that they are in league with each other. As the boot of the controllers presses on their neck, they scream out, "I am the boot!" Arrogance cooking in a pot of ignorance. Red-whites have lost all sense of awareness because they have been baited by influencers who are paid by domestic and foreign influencers to keep the game going. Red whites have become the snowflakes they mocked in Trump's first election. They are now completely controlled by emotionalism. Just by speaking the name George Floyd, you can make their skin crawl, just as when you utter the name Trump, a leftist cringes. But utter those names in the presence of a Hotep, and you'll get little reaction because we see the bigger picture.

College used to provide a better future, today it is providing the burden of a lifetime of debt. The American Dream is becoming unaffordable and inaccessible — and that should be unacceptable to all of us. Restoring faith in America starts in our classrooms and our schools. That is the ticket to restoring faith in the American Dream and making it accessible to all.

There are three doors a child walks through that will determine their future: the front door of the home, the front door of the school, and the front door of the place of worship. If those three doors are not aligned, it impacts a child’s education and future. Today, 50% of our kids cannot read at grade level. Republicans have abandoned public education, Democrats have abandoned standards and accountability, and our kids are the ones paying the ultimate price.
