Hi everyone. We’d like to address the recent discussion around the AI video contest, and first of all, we’re sorry for upsetting players with this event. We’re also sorry that we didn’t communicate with everyone clearly enough before the event started. Our original goal was to lower the barrier to creation. In past contests, we saw players with great ideas and scripts who couldn’t fully bring them to life because they weren’t familiar with tools like editing, modeling, or animation software. We hoped AI could be a more accessible tool that lets more people take part. That said, we understand the concerns around AI content. We are not trying to dismiss handmade work or disrespect creators. To us, AI is just another tool. What we truly care about is the idea, the expression, and the final work. We’d like to leave the next step up to the community. Please vote on what we should do: 1. Cancel the AI video contest 2. Change it into a non-AI creation contest 3. Keep the AI category and add a separate handmade category If you have another suggestion outside of these three options, please feel free to share it as well. Thank you.

38 years old and I just found out rejection sensitivity dysphoria is a thing and I need everyone to know my brain has been LYING TO ME my whole life.

I am both relieved and furious and I need a moment tbh

Every job I didn't apply for. Every text I over-apologized for. Every time someone's tone was slightly off and I spiraled for 3 days. That wasn't me being "too much." That was ADHD running a sabotage campaign in the background since 1987.

@upshine3 I create a schedule, a deadline on my own, and there is always external pressure because I'm always on a schedule to begin the next project.

For people with unmedicated ADHD: How do you actually get things done when a task has no schedule, no deadline, and no external pressure? What strategies, tricks, or systems work for you on boring/important-but-not-urgent stuff? Thanks in advance!

When I quit streaming for a year, I went to TwitchCon and was met with legit someone saying "you're brave to come here" because of all the drama. The DRAMA??? I wasnt streaming let alone talking to any streamers. I unfollowed everyone and ghosted when I quit. Yet I STILL got wrapped up in drama while I was away. Im over it now, but I bring it up to share that no matter what you do or don't do, you'll get haters. Just be you and try to do what's right; family and best friends are so much more important than randoms on the internet who think they know you. Sending hugs 🫂
