Holy Smokes!! MD+ on #MiSTerFPGA, here is a peak (sound on 🔉🔊). I'll start working on a YouTube Video tomorrow. But for now check out how good the sound is for SF2. This will bring a whole load more CD quality sounds to Mega Drive games.

@JWonggg @analogue Get yourself an Everdrive 64. It's about to be fixed, so you should be able to get some games played.

I got my @analogue 3D which does N64!! Now I need to get N64 games to play on it! I also need to get a SNES controller for the SNES version of this as well. If anyone has any good recommendations let me know!

@Sabre_AZ I would have like to have seen this test performed with Black Frame Insertion or similar enabled. Most of the monitors manufactured do NOT cater to 60Hz output, so I think having BFI for 60Hz sources would have helped including this test. Everyone needs to learn more.

This is a massive fail. 19ms at the center of the screen is UNNACCEPTIBLE at 60hz. TOs need to do better. Man good shit bringing a tester to put the event on blast. And...is that a curved monitor? Wtf is going in the FGC? TOs your job is tough, but this is getting ridiculous

I did a usper deep dive into the rollback/ping/delay settings for Virtua Fighter 5 REVO with @adamYUKI last night. Here's a screenshot of the video. It'll be 1 hour long as we do every test we could and provided as much data possible. Hopefully this will give the devs ammo to fix

@TakiUdon_ @SixtyTwoMike Does that include 'PayPal Credit'? I would get it were it not for the unavailability of 0% finance. PayPal has increased it's 6-month finance minimum to $150, but that would be fine for someone who is looking to get a whole setup with all of the trimmings.

@RetroVanguard @topapate Sent a video to @TurboAnnihilate. 2 setups of Hyper FIghting running from start into the same exact stage. He took the video and cut each side to do a frame count of the game running, and the current-at-the-time version of JTCPS1 was running noticably faster (roughly 5% faster.)

I wanted to share my thoughts on MiSTer CPS1/CPS2 cores by @topapate . I love and support them, and want to see more MiSTers, but they are running too fast. Would you like to see them fixed. Vote below, share your thoughts and retweet this to others.

@topapate I've tried asking this on Discord, but I'll publicly put the question out. What version of the JTCPS1 and JTCPS2 core with which version of MiSTer should we be comparing this to? I still wonder if update_all is that is needed or is there something more?

@xTechMonkeyx I do not think there is anything to fix on JTCPS1 speed. We should double check JTCPS2, though.

@Sabre_AZ @damdai @topapate The MiSTer version is supposed to be frequency scaled from ~59.6Hz to 59.94Hz, as the CPS2 runs at ~59.6Hz. I think this might only be a factor if you are running through HDMI. I think the MiSTer peripherals that run RGB output like MiSTercade.

@damdai @Sabre_AZ @topapate Need to know if you used an authentic board, because I have some different results. What version of the cores, JTCPS2 and MiSTer, were you running?

@Sabre_AZ @xTechMonkeyx @topapate I did a rough side by side here. Difference is subtle. Mister (right) finishes a fraction of a second faster. Title screen (until demo match) is synced.
