Yesterday the former SEC chair said that RoaringKitty manipulated $GME GameStop shares by tweeting memes. Yet today Senator Tommy Tuberville is trading options on companies he legislates and Pelosi's portfolio hits all time highs. But silence from the SEC chair.

@unusual_whales The discussion of inflation is centered around the rate of change. Inflation falling means the rate has lowered, from 7% to 4% for example. Prices will not lower unless we move into a deflationary period, which is highly unlikely.

The Washington Post has said: Inflation has fallen. Why are groceries still so expensive? What are your thoughts?

@waleswoosh While not exactly worthwhile in this particular instance, this kind of setup can be a way for artists and their fans to deepen the connection they have with their artists and create an opportunity to become like the benefactors that commissioned works through history.

Breaking: The royalties for a song with 170,000,000 streams are sold via NFTs. Justin Bieber's producer Axident is selling the royalties from Bieber's song "Company" as NFTs. 1% of the royalties are sold in the form of 2,000 NFTs. One NFT is equal to 0.0005% of the streaming royalties. The NFTs will be available for $28 each. Royalties will be paid out every six months. "Company" has 170 million streams on Spotify. Approximately $0.004 USD is paid in royalties for each stream on Spotify.

@pranksy The nomenclature around crypto and web3 at large has been tainted over the countless scams, pump and dumps, and rug pulls from those claiming to be pioneers. It's no surprise that a community familiar with skinner boxes and other manipulative game design elements have no interest

After seeing the latest uproar from a streamer commenting about blockchain sponsorship, at what point do you think was it that we alienated the mainstream gaming folk - how would you try to win them back?

@loopify Happens in a lot of places with folks discouraging success. I've seen some instances where people were against pay raises due to not understanding marginal tax when moving up brackets.

@ABKNFTS Good to see not much has changed here. If it were legitimate we would see posts from the original developers, not a Twitter account with sub 500 followers.

@LambolandNFT @CreatorLeagueGG The way forward has always been creating an interface with the tech that is effectively invisible to the average end user. Almost all tech becomes mass adopted when the barriers to entry and learning curves dissipate. This is certainly a step in that direction. Love to see it

MrBeast is promoting NFTs. He's giving away a free box of Feastables to anyone who buys a Creator League pass. And those passes are actually NFTs. But @CreatorLeagueGG doesn't call these passes NFTs and they don't uses any crypto-related words in their marketing. Instead they are just treating NFTs as a backend technology. And that's what I think the future looks like. Companies integrating NFTs in to their business and making the blockchain invisible to the end user.

@0xgaut Yup. High interest rates are fine if the home prices are lower to match. Rising or flat prices at peaks and rising rates is a moat around home ownership. Who can afford to put six figures down and still pay 3-5k a month for a basic home?

@MrMetaDad Little acts like this are what the world needs. We've been stripped of community brick by brick. Little things like this are a small way to keep the social fabric together.

Someone was $2 short to get a pre-roll, so I grabbed $2 out of my tip jar and helped him. Why would I trip over $2? He hugged me and said thank you. It's the little things of life that bring joy to us.

@thedanbelyaev Social media can get people to do a lot of things against their own best interest. Losing relationships is an expensive lesson but you can move forward with better footing.

@Zeneca There are paid bathrooms peppered through spots in America too. Tipping culture reinforces businesses to underpay staff while fees let them overcharge. Such a fun game we play

@ibliminse_eth Moving loyalty programs to a system where the rewards can be sold on a secondary market instead of simply expiring would be a simple transition for users. Utilize existing UI/UX and integrate a Blockchain underneath.

Prediction: Web2 brands will have to figure out how to removed the speculative aspect of NFTs and implement more of a loyalty & rewards system. Starbucks is one of the brands already doing it.

@xUnbuckle That totally makes sense for why to attend events and speak on panels. I guess the generic answers aren't generic to everyone that is viewing a panel. It just feels like when you are a panelist you should give more value to the person at the event than a generic YouTube video

Question for people that attend panels at events. Do speakers generally give super generic advice? If so, then what's the point lmao? Lmao

Most individuals in the NFT space should be rooting for all legit projects to succeed. It's pointless to look at others and root for their failure.

@UnwantedCrypto Sometimes even people who care about you will discourage growth. The crabs in a bucket mentality is real, and people get uncomfortable with those in their circles growing if they stop themselves

People who actually care about you allow you to and even encourage you to grow. Trash people who don't, try to limit you and keep you at or below their narrow vision of what you should be.

This tiktok ban legislation if passed could be used to ban Discord or any large communication or gaming software. Which if they don't like Chinese ownership and investment, anything tencent has its hands in could become fair game.
