@xXaia @NASAArtemis It doesn't matter how fast it is if it still has to contend with 2.5 *seconds* of latency and the atmospheric interference which lasers are particularly vulnerable to, especially as data still has to come in packets. It also has to point directly at Orion.

Approaching the near side of the Moon. The Artemis II astronauts have surpassed the record for the distance from Earth at 1:56 ET (1756 UTC). This record was previously set during the Apollo 13 mission when the astronauts traveled 248,655 miles from Earth. The Moon continues to grow larger and larger in the windows of the Orion spacecraft as the Artemis II mission gears up to observe the far side. The astronauts are predicted to make their closest approach of the Moon around 7:02pm ET (2302 UTC).

Many seem to expect the livestream to have stunning high quality moon photos- those are coming. Keep in mind, bandwidth at the distance to the moon is a highly limited resource, they don't have the ability to quickly upload high resolution images while also streaming everything they're seeing. For now, you'll see a stream coming from the exterior GoPrso, then the crew will share photos captured from their cameras with better lenses etc from inside the cabin. Amazing photos are on their way!

Bo skoro gmina produkująca prąd "wyłącznie na potrzeby edukacji" działa jak podatnik VAT i musi wystawiać faktury za energię, którą oddaje do sieci bez grosza płatności - to co będzie, gdy skarbówka przyjrzy się prywatnym inwestorom z dużymi instalacjami? Albo firmom? Albo za rok znowu "doprecyzuje" interpretację? To jest klasyczny mechanizm pełzającego rozszerzania obowiązków podatkowych. Dziś gmina. Jutro firma. Pojutrze ktoś napisze, że producent energii bez koncesji to jednak "podmiot prowadzący działalność". I trzeba będzie płacić. Polska jest krajem, który jednocześnie dopłaca do fotowoltaiki i obkłada ją podatkami. Który wymaga od obywateli inwestowania w OZE, a potem szuka sposobu, żeby na tym zarobić. Który ogłasza transformację energetyczną, a fiskus interpretuje ją jak skarbnicę nowych podstaw opodatkowania. To nie jest polityka energetyczna. To jest fiskalizacja zielonej transformacji.⁩
