Il y a un truc que je ne comprends pas, c'est le boulanger qui dit "avec les charges je n'arrive pas à me dégager un salaire en travaillant 90 heures par semaine, je veux vendre depuis trois ans mais je ne veux pas brader, je n'ai que des offres au rabais. Mec, si tu dois bosser 90h par semaine pour juste ne pas être en faillite et sans te payer, c'est que ta boite vaut moins que zéro. Arrête d'essayer de vendre, ferme la boutique.

Quand Israël commet une saloperie, Raphaël Enthoven n’en tire pas la conclusion de bon sens que les critiques de sa politique et de son gouvernement ont raison, mais que ceux-ci remportent une victoire. Cette torsion du sens est un cocktail bien connu en psychopathologie : clivage (splitting), mentalité d’assiégé et rationalisation défensive avec idéation persécutoire. Elle lui permet d’éviter d’en tirer la conclusion logique (« les critiques avaient raison ») et d’éviter la dissonance cognitive. Ce type a clairement besoin d’un suivi médical adéquat. Et ils sont nombreux dans ce cas.

Imagine if you had told the people who supported this stupidity 3 weeks ago that by now the Trump administration would ask Congress for a $200 billion supplemental, that it would be seriously considering using ground troops to hold Iranian territory and preparing for a weeks-long campaign, not to mention the fact that we're in for a large energy shock persisting for months even in the best case scenario. Anyone who is intellectually honest and not disconnected from reality knows they would have replied that it was complete nonsense, that you were just a panican, etc. But that's where we are and they're still pretending, not just that everything is going according to plan (as if there was a plan in the first place), but that it's actually going even better than they thought it would. It's just pure cult-like behavior at this point.
