I find myself defaulting 😞 to Apple Notes despite its basic feature set. It’s easy to add to, available offline, and synchronizes across devices. @NotionHQ seems committed to the online only experience. Connectivity can be unreliable. Places that lack good signal make it hard.

The main reason I have not embraced @NotionHQ as my primary #secondbrain tool is the absence of a solid offline experience. Huge limitation. @evernote isn’t growing/offering comparable features, but at least I have a local copy of my data, and the export isn’t terrible.

@Lielahcreasha I did some searching and tried a few things that I don’t completely remember (sorry) but eventually it showed back up, thankfully. I probably have some open browser tabs on one of my devices with my research! 😂 if I find a link I’ll let you know.

iOS weirdly stopped producing search results in Messages just after the last update. Tried a few things. Looks like it’s back now. Strange. Was worried about #dataloss It’s been a broader life theme lately 😔

@AlanBarber That stinks. Prednisone tastes awful. I had to take a high quantity of the pills a few months ago. I put them in yogurt and got them down that way.

My right hip has been hurting for the last few days. Doc thinks it's a bursitis but x-ray results indicate it could also be Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH)... A type of arthritis. Either way I'm back on the steroids!

iOS YouTube sharing menu just dropped all the usual choices, now I just have a couple of unfamiliar/undesired options! Can’t share to Readwise Reader app now or Apple Notes! 😔 Maybe an app update?

@Walgreens So we were able to swap out our entire layout so the nails we had were OK relative to the canvas sizes. A few nails needed pulled out far enough to catch the keyhole hangers. Overall it worked out. Still not thrilled with design changes but no returns needed. #sigh

@Walgreens The photo app claims that the canvases “include installation hardware”. Are notches in the back of the frame considered “installation hardware?”

I love @Walgreens photo canvases. They have generous Black Friday discounts. However, at some point they made a change in the mounting hardware. No more “teeth”. Just inset notches. It makes it much harder to hang and difficult to swap old canvases in same layout! 😠

@unclebobmartin I generally prefer Phillips OO to flathead OO.

I keep seeing people posting that OO is bad. I’m sorry, but they have no idea what they are talking about. It’s akin to saying screwdrivers are bad. I think the reality is that they are just click baiting.

A friend of mine is talking about inviting us to an escape room. I might try to get out of it…

@sadukie He did use a hand-driven coping saw a bit on his pinewood derby car last year. With close supervision of course!

@sadukie Yeah we just did the orbital sander. He keeps wanting to use a power saw and I say he’s too young. Not the answer he wants to hear… 😆

@housecor @scottsauber Is the deadline based on a specific date on the calendar or based on your induction date? Perhaps this will drive an improved calendar reminder and tracking process. I wish I was better at these!
