@jensimmons Thanks for the Safari 17.0 article. Is there a working example somewhere for AV01 support? On an iPhone 15 Pro running 17.0.2 canPlayType() is returning an empty string for “av01”, but “probably” for “av01.0.05M.08”. Is this expected? It doesn’t seem correct.

@LorraineFitzsim Ah never mind, thanks. There was one comment I wished I had added to the survey: when cycling with my kids in traffic I cannot have a conversation with them even though their heads are about 50cm from mine.

@ccferrie In addition to rampant cases of cars cruising through just-changed lights, I’ve seen cars simply deciding to take off and go at arbitrary points during the red light. This is taking too long, I’m just going to go.

@paulca I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cyclist behaving in a way that’d I’d regard as intimidating in a park—though I suppose it’s in the eye of the beholder. But I see dangerous situations involving vehicles and bikes every day.

@ccferrie @GardaTraffic There are trucks parked along that stretch almost every morning forcing kids on bikes to merge into traffic. I’ve tried calling the Gardai but I haven’t seen them turn up yet (though I gave up after about 10 minutes). Good to see they take action if you flag them down.
