If he achieves a big victory in elections, he believes that would grant him full legitimacy in the eyes of socios to sell that minority stake, and it would completely elminate both internal and external opposition to it.
He will call an Extraordinary Assembly for socios, where he'll hold a referendum about changing the club's ownership model. If he wins the elections by 80% or 90% of the votes, he believes he would easily get the 50%+ votes needed in the referendum to change the club's ownership model.
