@JimPethokoukis Now factor in lower rents because the demand for housing is down, lower medical costs because of emergency room visits, lower school costs because fewer non-citizen students, reduced pressure on the job market increases wages, now what's the total?

The economic cost of Trump’s migrant crackdown "Consumer spending by immigrants will fall by $10bn to $40bn this year, it predicts, and monthly employment growth could turn negative, while GDP growth will be 0.1 to 0.3 percentage points lower." ft.com/content/7b3b89…

At times, an elderly man in his 80s will imagine events that never happened. It is not that the man is intentionally trying to deceive, but simply he has lost touch with reality. Either Iran is lying, Trump is lying or Trump has lost touch with reality.

@OwenGregorian It's great she is willing to travel to help fill the open corruption slots in Fulton County. Fulton only wants professional looters with lots of experience and successes under their belts. 👍

Former scandal-plagued Illinois 'super mayor' eyes political comeback as a Republican in Georgia | Louis Casiano, Fox News The former embattled Democratic mayor of a Chicago suburb is running for a seat in Georgia as a Republican after relocating to the area following her scandal-plagued tenure in office. Tiffany Henyard, who once declared herself a "super mayor," is the lone GOP candidate for South Fulton County's District 5 on the Fulton County Commission, according to election records. She is facing off against four Democratic opponents. Henyard has a contentious political history. She made national headlines in 2024 after officials in her administration were served with subpoenas from the FBI in response to an alleged corruption investigation. She was never charged. While serving as the mayor of Dolton, Illinois, she came under fire over corruption allegations and financial mismanagement of village funds. A financial probe reportedly revealed that the village of Dolton's bank account fell from its initial $5.6 million balance to a $3.6 million deficit. While mayor, the village was delinquent in filing annual financial reports and audits with the state comptroller’s office. Amid corruption allegations among officials, residents accused her of using village funds as her own piggy bank by billing taxpayers thousands of dollars for her hair and makeup team, as well as going on a lavish trip to Las Vegas. After losing her re-election bid, she was ordered to pay $10,000 stemming from a case in which her landlord accused Henyard and her former boyfriend of failing to pay rent for a home she lived in while serving as mayor. In 2025, she was ordered to appear in court after failing to turn over public records from her time in office. Critics dubbed Henyard the "worst mayor in America." She was heavily criticized over allegations related to an alleged sexual assault by one of her allies during the Las Vegas trip. The alleged victim claimed to have been fired after speaking out. Henyard also served as supervisor for Thornton Township, one of the 29 townships in Cook County, Illinois. She was defeated in her re-election bid by Illinois state Senator Napoleon Harris. In January 2025, Henyard was seen on video jumping into a chaotic brawl that broke out between her boyfriend and an activist who called her a "b----" during a heated Thornton Township Board of Trustees meeting. foxnews.com/us/former-scan…

@bobby_halstead @JennieSTaer @CIS_org A good chunk of the adds were for crowd control and facilities protection. If the locals handle that - it can relieve those roles and reduce head count without impacting the mission. Win-win - if locals do their job.

NEW: Border czar Tom Homan says ICE and CBP are currently working on drafting a "draw down plan" to reduce the number of immigration agents in Minnesota. Homan said the plan will come to fruition when local authorities scrap sanctuary policies, allowing ICE in the jails. "If we get these agreements in place, that means less agents in the street, more agents in the jail and less agents in the street. This is common sense cooperation that allows to draw down on the number of people that we have here. Yes, I said it, draw down the number of people here."

My house. My town. Burned. Due significantly to ineptitude, gross negligence, lack of precaution, and bad policy at the city and state level. After 1 day of analysis (less than that), Newsom and Bass pointed to climate change and the wind. Zero review. A year later we know the sheer number of mistakes leadership made to create this unnatural disaster. We’ve been burned down. And worse we’ve been gaslit, misdirected… all in a coverup to avoid political fallout and liability. A year later, there’s no vision. We will take what we can get.
Gavin Newsom@GavinNewsom

Donald Trump has signed a useless Executive Order rather than deliver the $34 BILLION California's tax payers DESERVE in wildfire disaster aid to actually rebuild! It's been over a year and he has refused to help the American people. Disgusting.

No. You don’t get to launder this by calling him an “observer,” as if he were a neutral bystander who happened to be shot for no reason. Everyone knows what’s happening. Literal communists are operating in lockstep with taxpayer-funded NGOs to mass-recruit people, whip them into a frenzy, and deploy them in defense of their own interests. The recruiting pipeline is obvious and consistent: the disabled, the mentally ill, the elderly. We’ve all seen the footage. Organizations like States at the Core then train these people to obstruct ICE. They drill escalation, not restraint. Doxxing. Harassment. Following agents. Surrounding vehicles. Screaming. Conditioning people to intervene at any cost. And it works. Watch the video I attached. A small woman steps alone in front of a moving car. The physics don’t matter to her. Self-preservation doesn’t matter. Her survival instinct has been stripped out and replaced with obedience. That doesn’t happen organically. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. And not one of you has said, “Maybe don’t do this. Maybe don’t send people to play chicken with vehicles and guns.” You didn’t speak up because dead bodies are useful to you. They justify the next riot. Once you condition people this way, it’s inevitable that someone shows up armed. It’s inevitable that ICE agents are threatened. It’s inevitable that you misframe it afterward. It’s inevitable that you roll out barricades and prepare for a night of fire in Minneapolis. And yes, it’s inevitable that you push people into this in subzero weather like lab animals—MK-Ultra levels of behavioral control. You are despicable because this is all about money. About keeping the grift alive. You’re willing to put people in harm’s way, to break them, even to kill them, so your funding and your lifestyle continue uninterrupted. The so-called “observer” was a victim, but not of ICE. He was a victim of you.
