As America's economy teeters on the brink due to Trump's insane tariffs, calamitous war with Iran, and his deeply incompetent Administration, I think I speak for the majority of Americans when I say "Fuck your ballroom."

AOC says we shouldn’t be using taxpayer money to build Trump’s ornate castle/ballroom while people are struggling to pay for healthcare and rent. Raju: Would you support authorizing the new ballroom? AOC: No. The president demolished the East Wing of the White House, a historic jewel of the American people, and he started to build this ballroom long before any incident. He also promised the American people that this was going to be built with private dollars, so the idea that they are trying to change the rationale for this doesn’t add up. The White House long had facilities for hosting, which also included the East Wing of the White House prior to them bulldozing the crown jewel of the American people. I don’t believe, in an era when they are jacking up costs, when they’re gutting everyone’s healthcare, and when people cannot afford their rent and their mortgages, that we should be using our treasure to build an ornate castle on a scale that is unprecedented and unbelievable. I’m sure that anybody who is against waste, fraud, and abuse would agree with me on that.

Why were ALL of the top 3 (+more of the Cabinet) at a correspondence dinner? The POTUS, VP AND SPEAKER can be in the same place, it's generally reserved for MAJOR things like an inaugurations, St. of Union address, or joint sessions of Congress. Why were they all there?
