Got overwhelmed by Notion, Trello, etc, so I built a side project to manage my side projects 👀 #buildinpublic

Lemme introduce you to @adonisframework One framework. Auth, database, mail, queues.. all built in. Every feature uses a multi-driver architecture, so you swap providers without changing app code. Zero lock-in. E2E type-safe. Pair it with Vue, React, or just ship an API. You actually own your stack.
Simon Høiberg@SimonHoiberg

"Just use Vercel." "Just use Supabase." "Just use Clerk." Cool. Now your auth, database, and deployment are owned by 3 different companies who can change pricing whenever they want. And the rest of your product is wrapping OpenAI. At some point you have to ask yourself: what do I actually own here?

@piotrkulpinski Absolutely sad that we need 4 extensions minimum to make YouTube usable. I also have another extension that makes the thumbnails smaller again

American VCs brag about 48-hour due diligence. I once spent 48 hours reviewing a startup’s cookie consent implementation. We passed. Speed is not a virtue. Speed is a compliance violation waiting to happen. In my Masterclass, I explain why “move fast and break things” is how empires collapse. Lesson 5: Why American VCs Are Wrong About Speed. Only serious founders will understand.

I don't trust any product that isn't manually reviewing every line of AI generated code before pushing to production. These things make a ton of mistakes and there's no way you can blindly accept the output without shit eventually going down.

Honestly, is Redis always the best choice for backend caching?
