Riguardo alla riduzione del deficit, il Governo ha ottenuto un risultato considerato da molti irraggiungibile. Nel 2022, quando si è insediato l’attuale Governo, abbiamo trovato un rapporto deficit/Pil dell’8,1%; oggi lo abbiamo portato al 3,1%. Un dato non solo inferiore di 5 punti percentuali rispetto a quando ci siamo insediati, ma anche migliore delle previsioni del Governo stesso, che si fermavano al 3,3% per il 2025. Resta il rammarico per aver mancato di poco la soglia del 3%, che avrebbe consentito di uscire dalla procedura di infrazione europea con un anno di anticipo, cosa che avrebbe significato maggiore capacità di spesa per lo Stato. Per centrare l’obiettivo, sarebbero stati sufficienti appena 20 miliardi di Pil in più rispetto ai 2.258 miliardi di Pil per il 2025 al momento stimati dall’Istat. Il paradosso è che, da molti anni ormai, i primi dati Istat sottostimano il Pil effettivo, per poi rivederlo al rialzo. Con buona probabilità, questo accadrà anche per il 2025, rivelandosi una beffa per l’Italia e per gli italiani. E fa arrabbiare constatare che, anche prendendo per buone le attuali stime Istat, saremmo stati comunque sotto il 3% di deficit se, anche nel 2025, sulle casse dello Stato non avesse gravato l’esborso di miliardi di euro per il superbonus. La sciagurata misura del governo di sinistra del Conte II, al momento, impedisce all’Italia di uscire dalla procedura di infrazione, togliendo al Governo margine di spesa da destinare alla sanità pubblica, alla scuola, al sostegno dei redditi più bassi. Al ministro Giorgetti e all’intero Governo va il mio ringraziamento per aver saputo gestire in maniera responsabile le risorse pubbliche in una fase storica molto complicata, dando all’Italia grande prestigio e solidità economica.
