They hit me with the same thing months ago just to backpedal and admit it was a system error. They can't legally accuse you of something and impose a penalty without providing evidence used as the basis of accusation. Email the risk team directly and ask for manual review and demand your own data as that is also your legal right.

Updated: Topstep decided to fully BAN ME and never provided any evidence of hedging. 2 full months of no answers from support to just finally rug me. Incredible how the goat of the industry goes south. I had 4XFAs with about 40k total sitting. Gone. What a terrible customer experience. Is it what it is. But posting for awareness. Smh

@MichaelPatak going on 8 weeks now with no resolution from support. Telling me everytime they will have a resolution in 2-3 business days. Please can you get this ticket escalated

Nearly a month now. @Topstep Claiming I was “hedging” with a combine. 4 total XFAs I’m sitting with in my dash All XFAs all locked up. Can’t trade them. Only 1 XFA was apparently the hedge one. They said I will lose access to that account, but likely get a fresh one. Other 3 weren’t involved in the situation. I ask to send me the trades showing how I was hedging. They ignore that and can’t prove it. 3 weeks ago I get an email saying end of the week I will have clarity. End of that week comes. Nothing. I reach out to support. They tell me they are gonna escalate it. Another week goes by. Same email below except saying end of next week this time I will have solution. Another week goes by nothing. I finally post on here and @AskTopstep tells me they will escalate. A support manager finally responds and tells me 1-2 business days and I will have a solution. 3 days have passed, nothing. @AskTopstep tells me to just wait. WHY even tell me a timeline? Just pushing this out and out. No clarity, no explanation. No PROOF I was hedging. Again this is all over an accusation of hedging a combine account. Incredibly poor customer service. I have the least “threat” of this faulty offense, and instead of just fixing this, you lie to buy time, and just run me in circles.

This is the difference between a prop firm that cares about the trader and a prop firm that doesn’t. @Topstep claims to take up to 1 week for live account transfer(it’s been a month) @Tradeify claims it takes up to 1 week for live transfer(it took two days) What a solid downfall @MichaelPatak

Your payouts are not fast. From request to bank account, regardless of Wise or ACH, it’s at LEAST a 48 hour process. That is not fast compared to your peers.

~10 months of rule-compliant trading, fees paid, profits made, payout eligible. The moment payout was requested ($80k+ profits, ~$25k) → sudden review → re-KYC cleared → flagged for “trading in concert.” Months of time, money, and effort — gone. Feels helpless.

I used to chase $2-3k days PER account. Now I aim for $200-400. With almost 70 accounts copy traded this will net me over $100k in payouts later this month while leaving me with more room for drawdown if I need it. If you copy trade stop trying to hit home runs. A few hundred goes a long way. #nq #es

Also, I don't claim (and never have) that I'm a good trader; I know that being profitable with prop firms doesn't mean I would be a profitable trader in a live account. My goal is to use prop firms as a tool to hone my craft and learn, and then someday I hope to trade a live account and make millions :).
