@yardestyle Lively is coming off of the most mismanaged injury in the modern NBA. At public event last week he looked like he could barely walk. I’m sure extreme caution will be exercised. At least one of PJ/Klay/Gaff will likely be moved, which will create minutes.

Dallas matching the Knicks for Cisse is pure comedy. Traded a 1st for Gafford and gave him $54M, drafted Morez at #9, traded for 7ft Aldama. Cisse is a 4th-string center on this roster. Now they have to cut a guaranteed deal just to let him ride the bench. Make it make sense. 😂

@yardestyle 4th? Dama and Morez likely be at the 4 primarily. We don’t know what will happen to Gaff so I won’t speculate. We don’t know when Lively is coming through that door, and if he does how many games he will play. Since his rookie years he’s played 36 and 7. Cisse at 3rd or 2nd C.

This was my criticism/surprise by Mavs matching. Most teams are trying to get better at positions, not try to save a buck and lose

Another interesting note in the Hawks trading Zaccharie Risacher is that Dallas was ready to send Daniel Gafford to Atlanta for the former No. 1 pick back at the trade deadline. The Hawks instead get Lu Dort for him, while the Mavs get their wing to gamble on for nothing.

Leon forced Dalles into a bad decision as they will now have 16 players on guaranteed contracts. They gonna have to make a move, maybe trading a better center Daniel Gafford (3/60m) to clear the path for Cissi to be their 3rd string center behind Lively and 9th pick Morez Johnson

The Knicks should get Cissi on Tuesday night. Dallas currently has 15 players on guaranteed standard contracts. If they match Dallas would be forced to cut or trade a player on a fully guaranteed deal right now just to clear space for their third or fourth-string center. Unlikely
