Won my first hackathon 🥳 and my first money through coding! I was solo, no one else was interested in joining. Most teams had 4 members, and there were 20–30 teams. Feeling super proud. Thanks to @shydev69—I started coding seriously after watching him, and thanks for the daily reposts too. This was my second hackathon in two months. I started coding in my 3rd semester (pretty late), just 4 months ago. Now in 4th sem and I’ve already won my first one. You can do it too.

my @ethmumbai weekend recap: > won 2nd place at the hackathon (@BitGo privacy track) > also won a bounty from @ensdomains > @0xOutpost reunion with the bois > attended @Starknet blitz (insane work by the team for making Starkzap, has made building with Starknet effortless) > hacked, ate delicious food & explored mumbai with @prathadox > 6 hours of sleep in 3 days > met amazing people & made memories to cherish ps: still dont know how we won, the judge literally smirked (i lost faith) when i said we hardcoded a few values in db (the zk proofs which we used for demo) because of the hackathon time limit

Threshold cryptography explained like you're 5 👇 > Imagine a treasure chest that needs 3 keys to open. > You split the key into 5 pieces and give one to each friend. > Any 3 of them can open the chest together. But no single friend can open it alone. > Even if 2 friends turn evil — the chest stays locked. >That's it. That's threshold cryptography. > Now, chest = decryption key friends = nodes on a network > No single node ever holds the full secret. > No single node can decrypt alone. > Only a quorum acting together can. Why it matters in crypto? 👇 > Your funds can't be stolen by one compromised node. > No single point of failure. > No single point of trust. > The math enforces the rules not humans.

Lightning by @inconetwork explained simply → User input is encrypted client-side by the JS SDK → Stored on-chain as an encrypted handle → Contract emits an event → TEE compute node executes the operation inside a secure enclave → Signed result is relayed back on-chain via callback → Decrypted either publicly (reveal on-chain) or privately (locally in browser).

Most people thought @Chainlink did price feeds. It did. But it built more. CCIP, proof of reserves, and cross-chain infrastructure were all part of the same system. By the time people noticed, Chainlink had become core infrastructure for institutional DeFi.
